Pokemon fans are notorious for being quite creative, but ever since the series' inception, it seems that one of the community's favorite pastimes involves creating fan art for fusions of existing Pokemon. Typically, these fusions involve crossing over different starter or Legendary monsters to imagine how they'd look, but some other fusions are downright hilarious.

Pokemon fans might be aware that the two monsters, in particular, that have been featured in various media recently are Bidoof and Arceus. For whatever reason, The Pokemon Company recently declared July 1 to be Bidoof day, celebrating with merch, in-game events, and more. January 2022 also marks the release of the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus game. Now, fans have fused Bidoof and Arceus together for a hilariously terrifying concept.

Over on Reddit, user SuncraftXD posted an image of Bidoof and Arceus fused together in their original Pokemon Diamond and Pearl sprite art. The fusion was made using the Pokemon Fusion Generator 2 from the fusion-dedicated website Japeal. It is certainly interesting to see one of the most commonly memed Pokemon be fused with the all-powerful Mythical creator of the Sinnoh region.

Bidoof gained meme popularity largely based on how often it appears in the 4th generation Pokemon titles, marking itself as the regional rodent Pokemon of Sinnoh. It is also considered to be fairly weak, despite Bidoof and its evolved form Bibarel being able to learn a wide array of useful HM moves. Arceus, on the other hand, plays an integral role in the lore of the Sinnoh region, not only creating significant Legendary Pokemon like Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, but even the Sinnoh region and possibly the entire Pokemon universe itself, so seeing it fused with Bidoof, now appropriately dubbed "Bidceus,"  is a sight to behold.

Aside from the Pokemon Fusion Generator, Japeal also features fusion generators for the Dragon BallOne Piece, and Digimon series. Pokemon fusion seems to be particularly popular at the moment, however, with fan-made fusions of 3rd generation Bug-Type Pokemon Wurmple and Arceus quickly going viral for similar reasons as Bidceus. It may be worth noting that Pokemon fusion isn't entirely foreign to the series though, as the Pokemon Reshiram and Zekrom are both capable of fusing with Kyurem as of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.

Pokemon GO recently held a Bidoof Breakout event which featured the Pokemon appearing at highly increased rates in the wild and in raid battles, also introducing Bidoof's Shiny form to the game. As for Arceus, fans are eagerly awaiting more news on the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus game to learn how the Pokemon will tie into the game's story.
