According to the latest leaks for the Pokemon anime, fan-favorite character Nemona will be appearing in episode 10. The Pokemon anime series has been releasing new episodes consistently since 1997, though the latest season has been one of the most ambitious to date. The Pokemon anime series initially followed the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his friends throughout various regions in the Pokemon world. With Pokemon: Horizons, the latest season in the Pokemon anime series, Ash and Pikachu have been left behind to instead focus on new characters Liko and Roy. While the latest season of the Pokemon anime series is based on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet video games, it has yet to bring its main characters to the Paldea region proper or introduce some of the major characters from the games.RELATED: Pokemon Fan Creates Ghost-Type EeveelutionAccording to reputable Pokemon leaker Centro Leaks on Twitter, that will change fairly soon. The Pokemon: Horizons anime has aired four episodes to date, with a fifth episode to air today. The first episode of the series saw protagonist Liko arrive in the Kanto region, but now the characters are working their way to the Paldea region where Pokemon Scarlet and Violet take place. Assuming Centro Leaks' information is accurate, the Paldea region will properly debut come episode 9, with Nemona to follow in episode 10.

Nemona fills the rival role in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, though she is much friendlier than many of the other rivals that Pokemon players encountered in past games. Nemona primarily features in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Victory Road storyline, and she has proven to be one of the most popular human characters to come out of the new games. It's possible Nemona's popularity in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games will translate to the anime series, but it's unclear if she will be a regular character, an occasional guest star, or just there to make a one-off appearance.

The latest Pokemon anime series has many questions to be answered besides what kind of role Nemona will play. A brand-new Pokemon was teased in the Pokemon anime that appears to be related in some way to the new Legendary Pokemon Terapagos, but more details about it have yet to be revealed. Terapagos will be making its video game debut in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC The Indigo Disk, itself the second part of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. It's possible fans will get answers about this new Pokemon in the Pokemon anime well before they learn about it in the games, so hardcore fans may want to make sure they tune in.
