Pikachu is the most popular Pokemon in the franchise and also acts as the series' mascot. This leads to the electric rat Pokemon appearing in all forms of media possible, from games to movies to TV shows.

This provides an ample amount of opportunity to for things that Pikachu does to be turned into memes. seriously Pikachu is up there in terms of the sheer number of amenable frames that it has and we've compiled a list of a few of the best ones that we could find that left us with tears on our eyes and smiles on our faces.

10 Destiny Crossover

Starting off this list with the legendary surprised Pikachu meme. The best thing about memes, even ones from video games or TV shows, is that they are so universal that they can perfectly explain any number of situations that can be found in video games. One thing that will always be in competitive video games is people complaining about certain people being try-hards for using certain weapons. But we all know that the people who say this also like to use those weapons.

9 Funny Number is Funny

Being a pretty teen is an interesting time for most people. You're either just starting puberty or are going to very soon and you start to realize a few things about yourself and about the world. This includes somethings that might be hidden in the back of a convenience store behind an +18 sign. One of these things is that you find out about one of the funniest numbers of all time and laughing whenever anyone says it, no matter the constant, usually followed up by someone saying nice.

8 Brat Things

This must be from the parents/ adult perspective of how kids look when being told that they aren't going to buy some annoying kid a copy of the newest Pokemon game, toy, plushie or article of clothing. Like just look at Pikachu in this photo, he's just so small and so disappointed at the same time it's so cute it could almost make someone what to change their decision and buy the kid what they were asking for.

7 The Left Is More Appealing

The "you vs the guy she told you not to worry about" meme is probably one of the best ones to come out in recent years. There's a reason why it's outlasted so many of the memes that were coming out around hr same time. Naturally though, like most other memes that last a long time, it just kept getting more and more extreme and abstract. In this case though, the guy she told you not to worry about is probably less appealing to most people than you are.

6 Oh No

It's strange how many memeable images you can get out of one character (that isn't named Spongebob Squarepants). There's just so much opportunity for Pikachu to have them though, between the TV show, The Detective Pikachu movie and each and every Pokemon game that has Pikachu in them, which is literally all of them.

Here though we see a nice combination of the live-action film and the TV show creates a very dark image both on-screen and in the mind.

5 How Dare You

Ok, to clear this up, pretty much nobody knows what chota bheem is and neither do we, but the statement right here still stands. How dare anyone say anything, especially something that most people don't even know about is better than the mascot for a majority of 2000s kids' childhoods. Seriously the fury of this Pikachu mascot is amazing though, imagine how mad you have to be to go through the effort of sliding your arm through your only air hole.

4 RIP Orignal Sonic Movie Design

It's weird to think about in today's day and age that Sega was once one of the only names in the console wars back in the 90s and was even winning them at some point. Sega was seen as the cool kid's console with Sonic as its mascot and more mature games, including a version of the original Mortal Kombat that included blood and fatalities.

However, due to a series of bad decisions and bad games, Sega lost traction, as you can see with the comparison of their biggest characters movie to Nintendo's.

3 Facts

Not exactly a Pikachu meme, but a meme about a Pikachu meme and they said Avengers was the greatest crossover of all time.  Seriously though this meme does bring up some very interesting questions, like Pokemon have to die at some point right that's the whole reason ghost Pokemon exists supposedly. They're basically just the souls of dead pokemon, like the ghost of Marowak in the original game but yeah I guess this does explain the immortality of the Pikachu memes.

2 Just Sneeze Already

This might literally be up there as one of the most annoying feelings in the world and whenever it does happen it happens at the worst time. Like nobody finds it weird or strange when someone is sneezing, even a few times, it's completely normal and if it does make people turn their head it's usually only for a second. This feeling on the other hand makes you look crazy, seriously it's such a bad look that's it somehow makes Pikachu look weird.

1 Everyone Has Done This Once Right?

We've got to finish off this list talking about the best Pikachu meme (yes it is) combined with one of the most relatable things that every overly curious person has seen themselves doing. Seriously somewhat bendy things that aren't meant to be bent are some the bane of ADHD riddled people everywhere. You know you shouldn't bend the thing but you do and when it breaks you really shouldn't be surprised at all but you can't help but make the surprised Pikachu face.
