Here's Where You Can Still Buy PlayStation VR

The PlayStation VR is quickly selling out across the web. While you won't be able to find the Launch Bundle available online, GameStop has their own exclusive bundles.

Believe it or not but the PlayStation VR is selling out across the board. In fact, even the PlayStation VR Launch Bundle is no longer available at major retailers such as Amazon (it was still shipping later October 22nd when we started rounding up stock for this article). While prices will still be a major factor in making VR mainstream, you can bet demand will continue to be high if current trends are anything to go by.

As of writing, your pick of PlayStation VR options is reduced to three stores for online purchases: GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon. The Core headset at $399.99 looks to be plentiful in stock but the Launch Bundle appears to be sold out across the web. For Best Buy, you can purchase the Launch Bundle online but it is only available for pick-up in store (for us, we only see stock for stores 20+ miles away). While cheap PlayStation VR headsets might not exactly happen right away, finding units in stock will be the initial challenge.

If you must pick up a PlayStation VR bundle and you don't want to deal with ridiculous eBay scalping prices, GameStop actually has a wide variety of bundle choices to choose from - and these deals are online only. In fact, their most noteworthy bundle is essentially the complete PlayStation VR launch experience for the price of "only" $889.99. The bundle comes with all 9 launch titles and everything you need to get started with a PlayStation VR experience.

Update 3/1/2017: Supplies are now more plentiful for the popular PlayStation VR (a hot selling item during last holiday season). You can now pick up an "Until Dawn" PS VR bundle at GameStop for $499.99, or the regular Core Headset for $399.99.

Conversely, the story is similar over at Best Buy. There, you can pick up the "New" PlayStation VR bundle which includes PS VR World (a different game than Until Dawn), or you can simply choose the Core Headset for the same $399.99 price.
