Though PlayStation users have different goals when Trophy hunting, the system’s main purpose is to reward players for their hard work. Some will find high Trophy counts to be the most satisfying goal to strive for, caring little about what they play to reach their lofty numbers. Others aim for quality over quantity, only getting difficult Trophies or Platinums for games that they love.

For gamers seeking only the most rewarding Trophy hunts, there were a few standout options available during November 2022. The Essential PlayStation Plus lineup offered a few grinds to push through, while the month’s biggest release gave players Trophies for toughing out some intense boss battles and completing several challenges. Overall, it is the following Trophies that provide the most enjoyable hunts of the month.

Out of November’s essential PlayStation Plus offerings, the challenging but brilliant Nioh 2 proved to be a must-play for many gamers. With players needing to spend anywhere between 70 and 120 hours to acquire the Platinum, they are in for a long grind, and the Trophy “Friend of the Guardians” will likely feel like a major milestone for many. Though it is easy to get 24 of the 25 Spirits, the 25th is locked behind a boss that can only be fought in the side mission Master of the Three Evils.” Considering that players need 120,000 Dual Sword proficiency to access this mission, this will be a major portion of the Platinum grind. Getting all 51 of the Soul Cores for “Soul Searcher” can also feel like an accomplishment.

While it will feel like a relief to get the above Trophies, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection also provided its share of satisfying tasks alongside a variety of funny Trophy objectives. Years 1-4’s “Multiplier” sees players collecting 10 million studs in a single level, and given how fun it is to gather studs in LEGO games, this task should be enjoyable all the way through. “Quick Quidditch” requires a small amount of skill, as players need to finish the Quidditch level within five minutes. As for Years 5-7, it offers a similarly fun stud-related task for collecting 1 billion studs called “Knuts and Vaults.” Both games’ have 100% completion Trophies in addition to the Platinum, too, and it can feel great to snag a gold and Platinum at the exact same time.

As for Heavenly Bodies, finding all the mission collectibles unlocks “Proud Souvenirs,” and reaching the end of any collectible hunt will bring some relief. Getting “A Classical Mechanic” for finishing a level in Newtonian mode will be satisfying, too, as it serves as a sign that players should have no problem clearing the rest of the game on Newtonian to obtain the Platinum Trophy.

Most Rewarding Trophies to Unlock in November 2022’s New Releases

god of war ragnarok kratos muspelheim

Of November’s major releases, God of War Ragnarok was undoubtedly the biggest, and it was packed full of enjoyable Trophies to collect. The boss battles with Gna and Hrolf are genuine challenges, ensuring the achievements are as rewarding as they are difficult. However, given the grind required, “Trials by Fire” may be the most satisfying Trophy in the game. Unlocked by finishing all the Muspelheim trials, players will have to fight through waves of enemies and complete several unique challenges. Though it may be a grind to complete the trials and reach Gna, it is as fun as a grind can get, as every challenge finished feels rewarding. Grabbing the last Relic or Sword Hilt for “Collector” is also satisfying.

As for the other November games, Sonic Frontiers’ Trophy list is incredibly simple, with the Platinum unlocking naturally if players go for 100% completion. Goat Simulator 3 is packed full of hilarious Trophies, though with the tasks being as simple as they are funny, it is hard to classify them as rewarding. For November 2022, Nioh 2’s grindy list and God of War Ragnarok’s simple but challenging tasks stand out as the most satisfying PlayStation Trophies to collect.
