Spring is finally here and PlayStation's Mega March sale is kicking off the week-long sale on the PlayStation Store, offering discounts on many of the platform's most popular games. The massive sale features discounts as high as 75-80% on many of the hottest games with titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, FIFA 22, and Deathloop available for $30 or less. Many of gaming's biggest developers like EA Sports and Square Enix have contributed several games to the massive sale boasting an impressive lineup of nearly 500 games with hefty price cuts.
Among the cast of popular studios contributing to the PlayStation Store's Mega March, Spike Chunsoft has contributed several of the developer's most iconic games to the sale. The Japanese developer has become a staple of the gaming industry thanks to the success of its adventure/visual novel franchises like Danganronpa and Zero Escape. While fans may notice the absence of Danganronpa from the sale, a star-studded set of games including Steins;Gate and AI: The Somnium Files should have fans jumping to get their hands on some of the most highly regarded adventure and visual novel games in the industry.
Spike Chunsoft's submissions to the week-long sale features five different games as well as a bundle with each featured title being discounted by 60%. The developer's Mega March roster is headlined by AI: The Somnium Files with the popular adventure game being discounted to $16 from its normal $40 price. Fans of the Steins;Gate anime should be excited to see not only Steins;Gate Elite, a remastered version of the legendary visual novel, but also the spinoff visual novel Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace both discounted to less than $30.
Alongside Steins;Gate and AI: The Somnium Files, Spike Chunsoft's Mega March discounts also include a lesser-known part of the popular sci-fi adventure franchise. Both the Steins;Gate spinoff ROBOTICS;NOTE ELITE and its sequel ROBOTICS;NOTE DaSH are also included in the sale with both games coming in at a $13.99 price tag. For particularly passionate fans of the "SciAdv" franchise as a whole, the PlayStation Store sale is also featuring a Double Pack with both ELITE and DaSH for $23.99.
Discounts on Spike Chunsoft's stacked lineup of popular visual novels come as the developer has plenty on the horizon for its passionate fanbase. Alongside the previously revealed Enigma Archives: Rain Code coming as a new IP, Spike Chunsoft's video game adaptation of popular anime Made in Abyss is set to release sometime in 2022, and AI: The Somnium Files sequel nirvanA Initiative is set to release in June. From new franchises to highly-anticipated sequels, Spike Chunsoft fans should have plenty to look forward to throughout 2022.
