Another big Flash Sale is hitting the PlayStation Store this weekend, with Sony discounting several major games up to 40%. It's arriving with such a flash that it isn't even clear whether it's officially started yet. The landing page for the sale on the PlayStation Store looks like it's unfinished or bugged, but the scrolling header on the Flash Sale's homepage confirms at least six discount games and they're each worth taking a look at.

Headlining the PlayStation Flash Sale is Capcom's recently released Devil May Cry 5. After launching DMC just two months ago, Capcom apparently wants to capitalize on the game's excellent reception and sell some more copies before E3 takes over the industry's conversation. PS4 owners can pick up the full Devil May Cry 5 game for just $39.59 for the duration of the Flash Sale.

Four of the remaining five games are from Electronic Arts, hoping to sell a few more games before the next iteration of each franchise launches later this year. These include Battlefield V for $29.99, FIFA 19 at $17.99, and NHL 19 at $17.99. While there's no follow-up planned for The Sims 4, it too is on sale for $7.99.

The final advertised game in this weekend's PlayStation Flash Sale is one of the most popular and well-received RPGs in recent memory, Divinity 2: Original Sin Definitive Edition. Larian Studios' sequel is discounted down to $38.99, near the lowest price the game has been on PS4 yet.

For now, it appears that only these six games are discounted as part of this weekend's PlayStation Flash Sale. As noted, the sales page doesn't seem to be fully functional yet and Sony hasn't officially announced the sale on social media either. There may be more games included in the flash sale when everything is said and done. Even without more games included, however, it's a pretty great sale. The Devil May Cry 5 deal is especially good.

For those on the fence about partaking in the Flash Sale, there's no need to rush. The sale officially ends on May 13 at 8:00 am PT. Feel free to evaluate the purchase over the weekend. There are certain to be more Flash Sales down the road.

Update: Sony's since launched the full Flash Sale, discounting dozens of additional games, including: The Show 19, One Piece World Seeker, Guacamelee! 2, Tales of Vesperia, Farming Simulator 19, GRIP, NBA Live 19, Madden NFL 19, Vampyr, Conan Exiles, UFC 3, and more.
