Now that Black Friday is just a few weeks away, retailers are now starting to offer a peek of their upcoming holiday deals. Yesterday, Microsoft revealed its Early Holiday Sale, which offered massive deals on Xbox One consoles and gaming PCs.
Now, Sony is holding its Double Discounts Sale, which gives players tons of savings. The sale includes discounts on select games on the PS4, but PS Plus subscribers will get double the savings. The sale is available now and will end a week before Black Friday on November 22 at 8 PM ET / 11 PM ET.
Control: PS Plus - $42 (30% off) | Non-PS Plus - $51 (15% off). Headlining Sony's sale is Remedy Entertainment's 2019 title, Control. The game is currently available to all PS4 players for $51, but PS Plus members can get it for only $42. Control is set to receive a crossover DLC with Remedy's other title, Alan Wake.
GreedFall: PS Plus - $34.99 (30% off) | Non-PS Plus - $42.49 (15% off). Another great game included in Sony's Sale is GreedFall, which was released last September by developer Spiders. The action RPG is set in a 17th century-styled fantasy setting and is widely considered as 2019's honorary Dragon Age game.
The Surge 2: PS Plus - $42 (30% off) | Non-PS Plus - $51 (15% off). Deck13 Interactive's sequel to 2017's The Surge, is also on sale for $42/$51 on the PlayStation Store. The Surge 2 was also released last September, and in our review of the game, we were impressed by the sequel's wide variety of customization, improved exploration, and challenging boss fights.
