For the next few days, PlayStation gamers can grab one of the most critically-acclaimed games of the last decade, Limbo, for a cheap price. In addition, its successor game, Inside, is also available for a low price, either standalone or as a bundle with the first aforementioned game. Both games are part of the ongoing "Games Under $15" sale for both PS5 and PS4.

At the time of writing, the PS5 entered its third full year on the market and ramped up production to make up for lost time and sales as a result of the global component shortage. With an optimistic outlook for the remainder of the fiscal year, Sony will look to keep building on the momentum going into the 2023 fiscal year, with games such as Final Fantasy 16 looming on the horizon. In the meantime, the "Games Under $15" sale and other ongoing sales will look to entice gamers with deals over a variety of genres.

The critically-acclaimed 2010 indie title Limbo, created by Danish indie studio Playdead, is currently on sale for $2.49 in the US. The discount will last until next Wednesday, February 15. Limbo was originally released on Xbox 360 as a timed exclusive and was subsequently ported to the PS3 and PC in 2011. Limbo is also available as a bundle with its 2016 successor, Inside, for $6.99. While both Limbo and Inside would usually cost $29.99 outside a sale, the two games are hard to miss at the current sale prices. Featuring stripped-back visuals, and a grayscale setting for the backdrop, Limbo is a horror-focused 2D platformer in which the player controls an unnamed boy searching for his sister.

The boy must solve various puzzles and try to escape the clutches of deadly foes such as a giant spider. With the spider just being one of the foes that the boy must contend with, the player cannot rely on audio cues. With no music to serve as a warning, the silence adds to Limbo and its dark environment. Limbo also has a free trial for players to see if the game suits them, and is also available on PlayStation Plus for Premium tier subscribers. The Premium tier costs $17.99 per month and also includes all the benefits of the Essentials and Extra tiers.

While Limbo at its base $9.99 price point already makes it an excellent PS4 game to get on the cheap, the 75% discount makes it an easy pickup for players that want to give it a shot.

Limbo is available now on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
