PS4 players only have one thing on their minds after Sony announces the final State of Play event of 2019. The event will likely offer several major PS4 game reveals, but there's one big question that fans of console would really like Sony to answer.

After Sony announced the next State of Play event, PS4 fans took to Twitter to beg the company to give them more information about Ghost of Tsushima. The game, which is set in feudal Japan, is one of the console's most exciting games but fans have heard very little about it this year and many are wondering what's happening with it. In October, there was a rumor that Ghost of Tsushima had been delayed from its early 2020 release date because of The Last of Us: Part Two's delay.

Sony hadn't confirmed this but it has only prompted more fans to ask about the game's release date. Fans wanted to know if the decision to change the Ghost of Tsushima release date could also make it a PS5 exclusive game.

One response to Sony's State of Play tweet, posted by user GermanStrands, just has a picture of the leaked Resident Evil 3 box art and a picture of Jin, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima. The tweet has 348 likes and one response to that, a GIF of Manny from Modern Family praying, has 123 likes. A tweet by Miraculous Maku said "You know what we want Sony to deliver" at State of Play, with a GIF from the Ghost of Tsushima gameplay trailer, has 197 likes. A tweet from AP with a GIF of Jin also had 95 likes.

Sony hasn't given fans any teases about what the State of Play may offer. However, the official PlayStation YouTube page may have confirmed that a big Ghost of Tsushima announcement is being planned for the event. The Ghost of Tsushima playlist on YouTube has been updated this week. The playlist doesn't have any new videos of the game but it suggests that Sony is going to make a major reveal and it wants fans to be able to easily watch more videos of the game.

The State of Play could potentially answer some of the biggest questions that fans have about Ghost of Tsushima. Fans have been looking for information about the game's release date, what sort of missions they'll be doing, and if the game will be a cross-generation game with the PS5. After months of waiting, Sony could be about to give fans what they want.

Ghost of Tsushima is in development exclusively for PS4.
