PlayStation has revealed a brand-new set of collectibles for members of PlayStation Stars to celebrate the upcoming launch of God of War Ragnarok as well as the 20-year anniversary of Ratchet and Clank. The new set of PlayStation rewards will become available to all members of PlayStation Stars throughout the month.
The PlayStation Stars service is PlayStation's loyalty program which is free to sign up for, and allows gamers to earn digital collectibles and other rewards by spending points gained from making purchases on the PlayStation Store, along with providing the opportunity to participate in frequent campaigns which offer similar rewards. The service is perhaps most beneficial for long-time PlayStation fans, who can acquire these digital collectibles to commemorate the biggest games and products from Sony.
A blog post from the official PlayStation website highlights the new rewards for PlayStation Stars members, including virtual collectibles to celebrate the launch of God of War Ragnarok and the 20th anniversary of the Ratchet and Clank franchise, along with a digitally-collectible PS3 as part of a campaign to reward veteran fans. Players are able to gain access to the God of War collectible by pre-ordering God of War Ragnarok directly through the PlayStation Store or the official PlayStation Direct website online. The reward can be redeemed by checking into PS Stars, while the Ratchet and Clank and PlayStation 3 digital collectibles can be unlocked simply by playing any PS4 or PS5 game of choice.
In addition to these rewards, PlayStation Stars members will also be able to participate in a number of new campaigns available throughout the month. Playing any PS4 or PS5 game will reward players with a Tyrannosaurus Rex digital collectible, and owners of the PlayStation Eye will be able to unlock a digital miniature of the device. Gamers that participate in any tournament title this month, such as Guilty Gear Strive, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter 5, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 11, and Tekken 7, will be able to earn the Incorruptible Determination digital collectible.
There's plenty up for grabs this November for members of PlayStation Stars, with many more virtual goodies for players to expect in the near future. Fans will be pleased to know that unlocking this month's range of collectibles won't take them very long. Players only need to find an opportunity to load up and play some of their favorite games throughout the month to earn these exclusive collectibles.
