What to Expect from the PlayStation Showcase 2021

As to what fans can expect from the gaming showcase, several rumors have cropped up in the past few days. After being absent for most of 2021, Square Enix's action-RPG Forspoken is rumored to appear during the showcase. There are also rumblings of a potential Uncharted-related reveal, a look at a new Infamous game, and a first look at the Alan Wake remaster from Remedy. Of course, these are all rumors, so they should be taken with a grain of salt, but some updates are more likely to happen.

Many fans are awaiting an announcement from Insomniac Games on its next Spider-Man title. It's been almost a year since Miles Morales launched alongside the PS5, so a teaser of what's to come could be exciting. There's also the potential first look at the sequel to 2018's God of War, Ragnarok, which currently has no official title.

Whatever ends up getting revealed during the show will definitely appeal to all kinds of PlayStation gamers.

PlayStation's next major release is the timed console exclusive for PS5, Deathloop --it launches on September 14.
