To the joy of gamers everywhere, there are quite a few new titles that are going to be taking advantage of this boon on both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, although the latter has confirmed many more 120 FPS titles so far.
21 Xbox: CrossCode
This RPG will have smooth animation to match its smooth gameplay, to the delight of fans across the globe. While CrossCode is a relatively old game, as it was originally released in 2015, the refined art style lends itself greatly to the new specs of the next-generation consoles.

Master Chief fans will be able to enjoy all previous Halo games in glorious 120 FPS as well. This boost in performance will make playing the remastered versions of these older titles feel fresh. Just imagine how satisfying head-shotting a jackal through the gap in their shield will be now that players can line up their shots with maximum smoothness.
16 Xbox: Jydge
This top-down shooter with a plethora of visual effects will only become more satisfying with the FPS upgrade. Hooray for lighting effects and glowing objects! Jydge takes a page from Judge Dredd and was released in 2017, making it backward compatible with ninth-generation consoles.

This unique game will allow players to throw rocks at helicopters, tanks, and much more with the smoothness of throwing rocks in real life. Please don't try this at home. King Oddball is quite an old game, as it debuted early on in the previous generation's lifespan.
14 Xbox: Metal: Hellsinger
As a combination of a First Person Shooter and a Rhythm game, this hybrid will give gamers the best chance to get the highest possible score with the added fluidity. Metal: Hellsinger is set to be released in 2021.

Artistic games tend to benefit greatly from improved framerates. Ori and the Will Of The Wisps, a stunning sequel to 2015's Ori and the Blind Forest, offers silky-smooth animation, gripping gameplay, and gorgeous visuals.

This fun excursion will only get better thanks to more fluid animation. The Touryst was originally released in 2019 on the Nintendo Switch before making its way to Microsoft's Xbox One and Windows in 2020.

6 Both: WRC 9
Also available on previous generation consoles, WRC 9 will support 120 FPS on the Ps5 and the Xbox Series X. With videos and photos showing off how gorgeous the game looks so far, one can expect a rivetting racing experience. The game needs to be set to performance mode to unlock 120 FPS.
5 Both: Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
Fans of the Devil May Cry franchise should prepare to pull their devil triggers at maximum velocity with the added speed and reaction time gained from the FPS boost. Devil May Cry 5 is already one of the best entries in the franchise, and the improved FPS will only further cement its legacy.

Rainbow Six Siege has become one of the best multiplayer titles on the market, and that looks set to extend into the next few years.
