May is coming to a close and that means it's time to find out what games PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to in June. May's offerings had Beyond: Two Souls and Rayman Legends as its big titles, and it looks like June shouldn't disappoint, especially for sci-fi and strategy fans.

The announcement was made, as usual, on Sony's official PlayStation Blog. The PS4 titles PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to are acclaimed strategy game XCOM 2 and Trials Fusion, which is another entry in the hybrid platform/racing series. PS3 owners will be able to pick up Zombie Driver HD and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Lastly, those with a PS Vita can grab Atomic Ninjas and Squares for Sony's handheld system.

XCOM 2, is of course, the sequel to XCOM, which itself was a critically acclaimed turn-based strategy game. It takes place 20 years after the events of the first game, where, spoiler alert, the aliens won. Players control a resistance force tasked with taking out the alien regime. Those interested can check out what we thought of it in our review.

XCOM 2 Gameplay

Trials Fusion is the fifth entry in the Trials series. It still maintains focus on the physics based platforming the series is known for. This means players are going to need precise movement through each of the game's levels if they want to achieve the best possible times. Check out how we felt about the game with our Trials Fusion review.

On PS3, Zombie Driver HD is a top down driving game with a simple premise, using a car that's been decked out with weapons to take out waves of zombies. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is another entry in the Ghost Recon series that was originally released in 2012 and brought with it more near future gadgets for the Ghost Recon team to use.

Trials Fusion Review - Graphics

For the Vita, Atomic Ninjas is an action-platformer that focuses on multiplayer game modes, like deathmatch, but also has a single player story.  Squares is a reflex puzzle game that challenges players to turn all the blue squares in a level to grey.

The new PS Plus titles will be available to download free for subscribers Tuesday, June 5th, 2018. That means that last day for PlayStation Plus members to download May's games is Monday, June 4th, 2018.
