Just a few days ago, January 2018's free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers were revealed by way of a leak, giving fans a sneak preview of what Sony Interactive Entertainment had in mind for next month's offerings. Now, the company has officially revealed the titles to be given to those who pay for the premium service, with the major draw being the PlayStation 4 games Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Batman: The Telltale Series.

With Mankind Divided and Telltale's Batman headlining the bill for January 2018's PlayStation Plus, it's a safe bet to make that many subscribers will be pleased about their inclusion in the monthly deal. Of course, games for other PlayStation platforms will be offered as well, for according to a post on the PlayStation Blog, the aforementioned current-generation titles will be joined by a handful of PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games, in addition to a VR bonus for PS4 owners.

Beyond the PS4, PlayStation 3 owners ought to look forward to being able to obtain Keen Games' hack-and-slash title Sacred 3 and King Art Games' adventure release The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. Meanwhile, both the visual novel Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness and the survival horror indie game Uncanny Valley will be available on PlayStation Vita (and PlayStation 4 thanks to cross-buy). What's more is that Sony will also offer StarBlood Arena to PlayStation VR owners from January 2 to March 6.

Taking all of this into consideration, Sony's list of next month's free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers is a great way to start off the new year. Both Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Batman: The Telltale Series being included in the list definitely gives the offer enough Triple-A clout to make it worth noticing, while the titles for PS3 and PS Vita only sweeten the deal. And don't forget to to pick up the free games for December 2017 while they're still available.
