In these unprecedented times, gamers now more than ever need new ways to occupy their time at home. And with the PlayStation Play At Home Initiative, Sony hopes to give players everywhere a chance to experience new games that they might not have considered trying before.

Even though free games normally only come to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, Sony has decided to offer ten free games to console users everywhere starting today.

While nine more free games are being added to the program, fans can still claim the previous free Ratchet & Clank until March 31 at 8pm PT. The other nine games go live March 25th at 8 pm PT and will be available until April 22nd at 8 pm PT.

Here are all the free games PS4 and PS5 owners can claim starting March 25 at 8pm PT:

  • Abzu
  • Astro Bot Rescue Mission
  • Enter The Gungeon
  • Moss
  • Paper Beasts
  • Rez Infinite
  • Subnautica
  • The Witness
  • Thumper

Most of the available games for players to try were created by indie companies that have partnered with Sony for the event. One of the more notable ones is Enter the Gungeon, a top-down 2D dungeon crawler game. Other games that accompany Enter the Gungeon are Abzu, Subnautica, The Witness, and Thumper. Out of those, Subnautica is one of the most popular, and for those who may not be familiar with it, it's an ocean-based survival game.

PlayStation's Play at Home event also has some options available for PlayStation VR users as well. Astro Bot Rescue Mission is a PlayStation VR platform game where players control a little robot named Astro with a mission to solve puzzles in the hopes of saving its crew. Other games that accompany Astro Bot Rescue Mission are MossPaper Beast, and Rez Infinite. Rez Infinite is a sensory-based game with gamers using sight and sound to interact with the game world. The original development team has remastered this version available for the PS4 and PlayStation VR.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will also be made available as part of the PlayStation Play at Home program, but not until next month. This game's download window is April 19th at 8 pm PT until May 14th at 8 pm PT. Additionally, gamers in participating countries will have access to an extended free trial of Funimation.
