Although May the 4th, Star Wars Day, has come and gone, Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced today the addition of several classic games from the science fiction franchise to its cloud gaming service, PlayStation Now in Europe. As it happens, the company actually admits to the error of not having capitalized on making the titles available on Star Wars day by saying it made a "Wookie mistake."

According to the post on the PlayStation Blog, four Star Wars titles in all will be making their way onto PlayStation Now, with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – Ultimate Sith Edition, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and LEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars being added. In addition to the titles from the science fiction series, Sony has revealed that two other Lucasfilm classics in LEGO form are being added to the service as well, with LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues being available as well.

For those unaware, these six games are the same ones that came to the United States' PlayStation Now catalog last year, with the service's library now containing nearly 500 titles in all. Of course, PlayStation Now is set to continue growing its list of titles, as Sony recently announced that it will eventually start to add PS4 games to the cloud gaming service later this year.

Fans interested in taking advantage of the addition of these Star Wars titles and other older games through PlayStation Now can do so on a number of different devices for $20 per month. That said, though, Sony revealed that support for the service on platforms other than PC and PS4 will be discontinued some time in the coming months, likely as an incentive to drive gamers still playing on the old-gen consoles to upgrade to a new system, whether it be a standard PS4, PS4 Slim, or the PS4 Pro.

Taking all of this into consideration, the addition of these Star Wars and Indiana Jones titles to PlayStation Now in Europe is decent sign that Sony is stepping up its efforts to expand the service's library. Of course, those paying on a monthly basis for PlayStation Now will obviously want even more titles sooner rather than later, especially those from the current generation.

PlayStation Now subscriptions cost $20 per month.
