Sony is adding select PlayStation 2 games to its PS Now service, the first batch of which is coming this month.

Up until recently, PS Now only hosted PlayStation 3 & 4 games, but it's now starting to incorporate PlayStation 2 titles as well. The first few to join the service are Ape Escape 2Dark Cloud 2, and Hot Shots Tennis, though more will be added in the future. In addition to being ported to the PlayStation 4, these titles will also be running in HD and have Trophy support. There's more information on what else was added this month on the PlayStation blog.

For those who don't know, PS Now is a game streaming service that allows users to play a variety of PlayStation titles for a monthly subscription. Essentially, PS Now a way to get users to pay for games they might already own, due to the lack of backwards compatibility on PlayStation 4. The service is not included with PS Plus, but being a member does give a decent discount.

Speaking of PlayStation Plus, members will want to check out the lineup of free games for May, which include two fantastic PS4 titles. Available to download for free are Beyond: Two Souls, an interactive drama action-adventure game by those wonderful storytellers at Quantic Dream, and Rayman Legends, a slick platformer that is packed with style and humor. As for PlayStation 3, users will have access to Risen 3: Titan Lords and Eat Them!

In other PlayStation news, God of War continues to be one of the most acclaimed titles this year. The reviews have been so exceptionally good that is was officially named the best reviewed PS4 game in the history of the console. We at Game Rant gave the title a perfect score, and we're not alone. God of War has even managed to remain the top selling game in the UK for the second week in a row, which is quite the accomplishment.
