Nintendo is one of the most prominent and oldest gaming companies around. Many of the games that stemmed from Nintendo are now locked on PlayStation. They might be locked due to licensing or trademark problems. The Nintendo Switch proves Nintendo still knows how to make games. However, the company needs to get back some of its leading franchises.

Alien Isolation, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, BioShock: The Collection, and Doom were all ported to the Switch. We could go on for days about PlayStation games that need the port treatment.  Let's take a look at which could happen and make the most impact.

10 Marvel's Spider-Man

It's time for Spidey to come back to a Nintendo platform. The first Spider-Man game published by Activision was released for the Nintendo 64, among other platforms back in 2000. We've seen several on handheld systems like the Game Boy and DS. Sony may own the rights to Spider-Man, but that hasn't stopped them from breaking their exclusivity rule in the past. Hopefully, Spider-Man can make his long-awaited return to a Nintendo platform on the Nintendo Switch.

9 Monster Hunter World

The Nintendo Switch is no stranger to JRPGs, so it seems strange that Monster Hunter World is not already on the platform. Games like Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate already appear on the Nintendo Switch. With Monster Hunter Rise's announcement comes a lot of speculation whether Monster Hunter World will come to Nintendo Switch. The game may suffer from performance issues on the platform, but they could downgrade the visuals as has been done with many other games.

8 Bloodborne

Now that Dark Souls Remastered, a technically more impressive game, has released for the Nintendo Switch, it opens up a realm of possibilities. Developer FromSoftware's next foray into the Nintendo world should be Bloodborne. The one reason we hate and love PlayStation is that its games remain exclusives. It could be time to switch the status quo by bringing Bloodborne to the Nintendo Switch.

7 Persona 5 Royal

The Shin Megami Tensei franchise, the franchise that spawned the Persona sub-series, is expected to come to the Nintendo Switch. Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne will be releasing for the platform sometime in 2021.

With all the buzz surrounding Nintendo Switch releases from the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, when will Persona 5 Royal come to Switch? Typically, Persona games only release on PlayStation. Now that the sub-series is gaining worldwide popularity, now is the best time to bring the instant-classic to the Switch.

6 The Last Of Us Remastered

This one might seem like a stretch, but it can't hurt to reach for the stars, hoping that The Last of Us Remastered comes to Nintendo Switch. The original The Last of Us is a PlayStation exclusive that was released in 2013. It's been over seven years since the game was released, so now could be a good time to make the port. However, it seems unlikely that Naughty Dog, a PlayStation owned developer, will port one of their hottest exclusives.

5 Grand Theft Auto V

It's been confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V will be coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, Nintendo has been routinely left out of the main series Grand Theft Auto games. We've seen Nintendo Grand Theft Auto games like the original and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars coming to Nintendo.

As one of the most profitable video game franchises, Grand Theft Auto is long overdue for another Nintendo release. Grand Theft Auto V has been ported many times, so why can't it come to Nintendo Switch? Nothing's off the table at this point.

4 Final Fantasy VII Remake

Square Enix has already dabbled in remasters for the Nintendo Switch. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster was ported to the Nintendo Switch in April 2019. There are also several other examples of Final Fantasy games released on Nintendo platforms. Final Fantasy VII Remake might be to graphically demanding for the Nintendo Switch, but we can still dream that it becomes possible. Perhaps the game would work with downgraded graphics.

3 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2

The original THPS was released for the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS, yet the remake containing THPS 1+2 is not a Nintendo Switch title. Rumors suggest that THPS 1+2 could be coming to the Nintendo Switch. There are controller files for the Nintendo Switch within the Warehouse demo.

Activision has been Nintendo Switch-friendly, releasing games like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled for the platform. The evidence for THPS 1+2 on Nintendo Switch is strong.

2 Until Dawn

Until Dawn Frightened

A standout horror game is what the Nintendo Switch needs. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was great, but Until Dawn is unique. Until Dawn is an interactive drama featuring voice actors like Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, and Peter Stormare. You'll make important choices that directly influence the game's events.

Unfortunately, Until Dawn was published by Sony Computer Entertainment, making a port seem improbable. Moreover, developer Supermassive Games has a long history of developing PlayStation exclusives like Killzone, so we shouldn't get our hopes up.

1 Final Fantasy XV

It's undoubtedly bizarre that Square Enix would release Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition on Nintendo Switch instead of the full game. Nintendo Switch is a portable console, but people would rather have a full version than a pocket edition. Final Fantasy XV took a unique spin on the series with a combat system similar to Kingdom Hearts. It incorporates a real-time battle system, which is referred to as the Active Cross Battle system. Is it asking too much to see this game ported to the Nintendo Switch?
