Black Friday may be over, but PlayStation gamers are still being rewarded with great prices. On Monday, PlayStation launched what it's calling its End of Year Deals, a nearly month-long sales event leading up to Christmas. The sale will include discounts on major game releases for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, including games supported by PlayStation VR. PlayStation shoppers can peruse the End of Year Deals on the PlayStation Store starting right now.

For those who managed to pick up a PlayStation 5 for Black Friday, there are quite a few games on sale as part of the End of Year Deals. A few examples include Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Borderlands 3: Super Deluxe Edition, Bugsnax, Little Nightmares 2, NHL 22, Planet Coaster, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Note that most of the PlayStation 5's biggest exclusives, like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, Returnal, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, are not included in the sale.

Those currently on the PlayStation 4 generation will find plenty of options to choose from. A range of titles from major franchises including Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, LEGO, Mega Man, Persona, Resident Evil, Jackbox, Tom Clancy, and more are included in the sale. Like with the titles discounted for PS5, most of the games in the sale aren't new releases, but for those wanting something to play for the holidays, it's a great opportunity.

Altogether there are more than 750 product listings included in the PlayStation End of Year Deals sale. Listings include full PS4 and PS5 games, DLC, and bundles, but there are still hundreds of games that have been discounted. Many of the discounts are steep, too, running as high as 70 or 80%, with a majority discounted at least 50%.

What's particularly nice about the PlayStation End of Year Deals sale is that it's going to last through the majority of December. The End of Year Deals will officially end on December 22. PlayStation gamers will be able to evaluate if they have free time, a backlog already, or if they have enough time to start something new while the sale persists.

Keep in mind that the PlayStation Black Friday sale will continue through Monday, ending just before midnight local time. It's a great opportunity to pick up an extra year of PlayStation Plus at 33% off, or some PS5 games that won't be part of the PlayStation End of Year Deals. Also, don't be surprised to see a PlayStation Christmas sale start after December 22, too. It is the holidays, after all.
