PlayStation Days of Play is officially on the way. The annual sale event for all things PlayStation begins on May 25 and will persist through June 8. PlayStation has now fully unveiled its plans for Days of Play, confirming a lengthy list of discounts for everything from major video game releases to PlayStation accessories. What PlayStation has already revealed for Days of Play likely isn't the full extent of the sale, but it should give PS4 and PS5 gamers an idea of what to expect.
To start off their discount announcements, PlayStation focuses on four features games that it believes PS4 and PS5 users will be excited about. Those four games include LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, and Far Cry 6. All four are relatively recent releases that haven't necessarily seen steep discounts up to this point. The discounts for these four games have yet to be revealed, so PlayStation users will have to check them out once the sale goes live.
While PlayStation doesn't reveal all of its accessory discounts for Days of Play, it does call attention to one specific discount. PS5 DualSense Controllers will be discounted during Days of Play at select retailers. That includes not just the white DualSense Controllers, but also Midnight Black Cosmic Red, Starlight Blue, Nova Pink, and Galactic Purple colors.
Hundreds of additional games are planned to be discounted for the duration of Days of Play. PlayStation hasn't revealed every game that will be on sale, but it does have a selection of titles that will be discounted. The list includes Among Us, Babylon's Fall, Back 4 Blood, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Crash Bandicoot 4, Cyberpunk 2077, Deathloop, Diablo 2: Resurrected, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Grand Theft Auto 5, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Resident Evil Village, Tales of Arise, and WWE 2K22.
The only other area of the upcoming Days of Play sale that PlayStation touches on in its announcement is the PlayStation Gear Store. Select merchandise will be discounted 20% off for the entirety of the sale. Additionally, there are some daily offerings. On May 25, spending $50 comes with a free beverage sleeve. On May 26, buying two God of War items gets fans a third for free. On May 27, there will be a special "5 Under $5" PlayStation Shapes offer.
