It's now mid-November, which means that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. The holiday season is in full effect. And for video game players, there's perhaps no bigger holiday than Black Friday, the annual sales event that sees game prices dropped across the spectrum. In preparation for the holiday, PlayStation has now listed its plans for a big Black Friday sale. Exact prices aren't available yet, but PlayStation gamers can start plotting out their purchases starting now.

Sony provides a list of digital games that it's planning on discounting on the PlayStation Store for its Black Friday sale. The list includes over 400 games, though there are multiple versions of the same game included. That includes around 100 games for the PlayStation 5, with some of the biggest releases on the platform to be discounted. Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Returnal are each on the list.

There are some notable absences for the PS5, however. Both Demon's Souls and Destruction AllStars are not listed as part of the PlayStation Store digital sale. They are, however, listed as part of the PlayStation Direct physical copy sale. That could mean Sony simply didn't want to re-list them, but still plans on offering them digitally. For now, however, they aren't included on the list of PlayStation games that will go on sale.

Of course, there are around 400 PS4 games listed, too. Most of the year's biggest game releases are included. The list has FIFA 22, NBA 2K22, and Madden NFL 22, Back 4 Blood, Tales of Arise, Resident Evil Village, Far Cry 6, Guilty Gear Strive, Hitman 3, It Takes Two, Life is Strange: True Colors, Riders Republic, and many other titles. It doesn't look like Call of Duty: Vanguard or Battlefield 2042 made the list, in case folk were looking for them.

PlayStation will also be offering more than digital games for its Black Friday sale. PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now discounts are planned. Merchandise will be 20% off with the code "BLACKFRIDAY20". There will also be a range of physical copies of games, including a bundle with NBA 2K21 and a PS5 DualSense Controller for $15 off.

Prices for everything included in PlayStation's Black Friday sale will be shared soon, perhaps even later today. Otherwise, PlayStation users will just have to be patient until the sale officially starts on November 19. Sales prices will last through Black Friday and the weekend to follow, ending the night of November 29.
