10 Burnout Paradise

It's an arcade racer for people who love racing games with a bit of a sugar rush. Twelve years ago, the game was a big step up for the series.

With sharp graphics, crisp textures, and much better framerate, this is the best way to enjoy these games on consoles. The remastered version comes with the ability to import PS3 save files, so old players can pick up right where they left. 7 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered

At this point, everyone knows Call of Duty. It's the most significant most infamous, hated, and loved game series of all time. To the fans, the remastered version of Modern Warfare 2 is just what they needed after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered in 2016. The campaign has been retouched with much better lighting, and completely overhauled visuals.

At this point, The Souls series is a cultural phenomenon. Games are coming out yearly that are inspired by FromSoftware's masterpieces, although none have been able to surpass the originals. Dark Souls: Remastered stays true to the original in almost every aspect.

The visuals, framerate, lighting, everything is better this time around, and it shows. No longer will the players blame the low framerate for their deaths, as the game runs 60fps. And while many people are still waiting to see a Demon's Souls remaster, they can do it while sitting next to the bonfire in Dark Souls Remastered.

Released merely a year after the original. The Last of Us' remaster wasn't a big step up on the surface. But then again, it didn't need to be. The Last Of Us Remastered is the PS4 edition of the PS3 game, and it comes with all the new benefits of being on a superior console, which is higher resolution, better framerate, and visuals.

Looking at the game, this is the way it was meant to be played. The story-driven adventure of Joel and Ellie feels much more atmospheric and beautiful now.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection repackages all the PS3 games for the PlayStation 4. The games look better and play smoother than ever. That is 30 hours of nonstop treasure hunting action-adventure that nobody would want to miss.

The biggest reason for owning this remaster, other than it's fun gameplay and beat-em-up style combat, is the overall length. All three of these Yakuza games combined will take at least 80 hours or more to complete.

1 WipEout Omega Collection

WipEout series belongs to a part of a genre that is somewhat forgotten nowadays, arcade racing. This remaster is a love letter to new and old fans. WipEout Omega Collection contains three main titles: WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048.

It is easily one of the most unique experiences players can have on the PlayStation 4. WipEout is one of those games that players can play alone but is also great with friends and family during get-togethers and parties.
