Just several days ago, the Xbox One version of PUBG Corp. and Bluehole Studio's battle royale title PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds managed to surpass 5 million players on the Microsoft platform, proving that the game's popularity continues to grow on the console. Now, in order to keep PUBG running smoothly on the system, the development team behind the title has released a new patch for the Xbox One that brings about inventory layout changes, frame-rate optimization, and more.

Dubbed "Patch 11", the latest update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One's most noticable change comes in the form of a refinement to the inventory UI that adds new focal points so that players can navigate menus much more quickly and change their loadouts more efficiently. What's more is that Patch 11 updates the button guide and tooltips in order to better direct players in PUBG.

A lot of the other tweaks that come in Patch 11 for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One are intended to make the game play more efficiently, such as the improvements to the responsiveness of weapon slots and attachments. For instance, players are now able to quickly scroll through it using the LT/RT buttons. The rest of the changes are primarily focused on performance and optimization refinements, including updates to some textures. Interested parties can find the notes for Patch 11 in full at the end of the article.

There's no doubt that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is one of the most well-known games on the market today, as its introduction to the masses rejuvenated an interest in the battle royale genre as a whole, which gave rise to other famous competitors such as Epic Games' Fortnite Battle Royale. With so many folks still vying for yet another Chicken Dinner in PUBG, it's great to see that the developers remain dedicated in making the game run as smoothly as possible with updates like Patch 11.
