Not too long ago, an exploit was found in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ new map, Sanhok, with the bug allowing players to completely disappear from view in order to then easily get the jump on any nearby opponents. Thankfully enough, PUBG developers were quick to act on the issue, as the team behind the Battle Royale title have officially patched out the exploit in the game by providing a fix in its latest PC update.

According to the patch notes for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' PC 1.0 update #17, the patch's bug fixes include “an issue where some terrain in Sanhok could be passed through.” With this being the case, those who decided to take advantage of the exploit will surely see their good times come to an end when they return to the spot in their next match to find that the disappearing act can no longer be performed.

As one might have suspected, the latest PC update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds not only fixed Sanhok's troublesome terrain exploit, but also the patch brought about some visual improvements to the map as well by adding extra environmental features to the Ruins, as well as the island's cliffs and rocks. What's more is that the patch fixed also an issue where the reticles on players' crossbows were showing up as misaligned.

Taking all of this into consideration, it's definitely great to see that Bluehole Studio and PUBG Corp. were quick to catch and fix PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' Sanhok terrain exploit before it lasted too long and became a bane of playing the map. Hopefully, the companies will continue to successfully refine, tweak, and fix the Battle Royale title for its existing 400 million-plus player base, as it will help grow PUBG's audience even more.
