A Plague Tale: Requiem will take Amicia, Hugo, and her companions farther than they've ever been before. The release is a beautiful love letter to its predecessor, picking up the story right where it left off in A Plague Tale: Innocence and easing players into the life of the De Rune family post-Guyenne before ramping up the action once more. Collectible hunters will still have some items from Hugo's Herbarium to find in the way of flowers and feathers, but the newest release offers some additional "treasures" that pop up in the form of character conversations and reflections on the past.

Those that are looking to complete 100 percent of their adventure through A Plague Tale: Requiem will need to collect all 21 of the souvenirs that are spread out through the chapters. The following guide shows players where to find each souvenir, including what chapters that are available and the best sub-chapter to start from if players missed one along the way.

Chapter 1 Souvenirs (Under a New Sun)

  • There are no souvenirs to be found in this chapter.

Chapter 2 Souvenirs (Newcomers)

Souvenir #1 - Best Player

From Sub-Chapter - Arrival In The Town

At the start of the Chapter, players will begin to progress through a town with Amicia and Hugo. The path is fairly linear and players should continue until they come to a market and begin to walk through it. Eventually, Hugo will run to a flower stand and have a conversation with the shopkeep. As soon as this scene ends, players can turn left, and head to the stall directly in front of them. From there, they should take a right, where they will spot a pot-tossing game at the end of the roadway.

To collect the Souvenir, players will need to hit all four targets with a pot. Players should be careful to line up their shots as they only get four shots in total.

Souvenir #2 - Be At Peace

From Sub-Chapter - Confrontation In The Stands

Later in the Chapter, Amicia will accompany Lucas on a quest to find a man named Vaudin. Eventually, after passing some guards and finding a Knife, they will progress outside into a large open area filled with patrolling guards. The doorway to exit this area is on the far side of the courtyard and the Souvenir is inside. Players will know they're on the right track when they a near an Archer atop a small tower and see a guard standing in front of the door to exit the area.

Once they are on the other side of the door, players should progress around the corner until they spot a staircase. Going up this staircase and taking the right path up another staircase will lead around a bend and eventually to a dying woman laying on a blanket. Interacting with her will reward players with Souvenir #2.

Chapter 3 Souvenirs (A Burden Of Blood)

Souvenir #3 - A Grave

From Sub-Chapter - The Gate

Players will have to progress through the earlier parts of Chapter III until they reach a point at which they must use a crank to open a large gate. After exiting the gate, Amicia and Lucas will find themselves on a road just outside town. Continuing down the road, players will eventually spot a house with a small gated section near a shack on the right side (across from the house itself). This gate is locked and players will need to travel around the right side of the stone wall and up a small hill where they can get a view of the "lock" on the inside of the gate and take a shot at it with Amicia's Sling. Once the gate is open, players can progress inside the small fenced-in area and interact with the grave to get this Souvenir.

Souvenir #4 - Our Home

From Sub-Chapter - The Warehouse

The second souvenir of Chapter III can be found near the end of the level, once Amicia and Hugo make it into the warehouse full of goods. Here, players need to progress until they locate Amicia's equipment and are able to use her sling again. The pictures above show the path from Amicia's equipment and will lead players to the right, then back towards the ladder they came down earlier and to the left. Looking upward, players should spot a ring they can break with Amicia's sling. Doing so will drop down a walkway. From there, players can climb the nearby ladder and run around to the newly formed bridge to access the map and gain Souvenir #4.

Chapter 4 Souvenirs (Protector's Duty)

Souvenir #5 - Silk Treasure

From Sub-Chapter - Night Work

To find the fifth souvenir, players need to progress through Chapter IV until they make it to the "dock area" for the first time. Shortly after arriving, Amicia will remark about the Order boat they're supposed to find and Lucas will mention that it's "got a red and white sail" and point it out in the harbor. After the conversation, players will move through some areas filled with cargo until they come to a ladder and climb up. From there, they can take the path that stretches to the right and follow it all the way back until it ends, then hug the wall to the right until they find an area to crouch underneath.

On the other side of the wall, there is a cart that can be pushed to allow players to hop up a nearby wall. Up there, they will find a set of silks lying on the ground. Interacting with it will cause a conversation between Lucas and Amicia, as well as award the souvenir.

Souvenir #6 - A Grain Of Sand

From Sub-Chapter - The Tar Workshop

This one is easy to miss, so players should be sure to take their time when progressing through the area. Midway through the chapter, Lucas and Amicia will find themselves stuck in a Tar Workshop. There, players will solve a puzzle in order to make it to the other side of the workshop. Once they exit through the door, they'll find themselves in a new area with a staircase that leads down.

By following the staircase down and wrapping around, they'll eventually come to a spot where they can move a heavy slab of wood in order to squeeze through a crack in the wall and progress to the next area. Instead of moving to the new area, players should spin 180 degrees from the crack in the wall and look for a nearby "lock" that is holding a small footbridge up. Hitting the lock with Amicia's sling will cause the bridge to fall and allow players to move across it and down another staircase. There, they will find a long dock, and heading to the end of it will give them a prompt to activate a small scene between Lucas and Amicia, which will award the souvenir after it's over.

Chapter 5 Souvenirs (In Our Wake)

Souvenir #7 - The Stag's Roar

From Sub-Chapter - On The River

This souvenir can be found very early on in Chapter V. After the opening cutscene, Lucas and Amicia will hop off the boat and then begin walking a rather linear path up the side of a hill and into the forest. Eventually, there will be a small fork in the road with a path that leads forward and another path jutting to the right. By taking the path to the right, players will find a small chest and can then turn and walk through some wreckage to continue up a hidden side path. Eventually, Amicia will spot a red ribbon-like item hanging from a tree and a conversation with Lucas will automatically begin. After this conversation is over, players will be rewarded with the souvenir.

Souvenir #8 - Huuuugoooo!

From Sub-Chapter - On The River

This one is easy to miss, and it's not too far past The Stag's Roar souvenir, so players should be on the lookout. Once they've progressed far enough with Amicia and Lucas, the rats will once again spring up to attack. This puts players into another puzzle where they must use cranes and fires to help them safely cross the horde of vermin. Players will know they're through the section when Amicia and Lucas are re-united on the same platform and Amicia remarks that she "likes his battle cry." Once players reach this point, instead of progressing forward they should look up and to the right to spot a ladder hanging above with an O-Ring lock. Hitting this lock with Amicia's sling will cause the ladder to drop.

From there, players can climb the ladder and continue up the linear path until they reach the top of a cliffside. Turning immediately left after they climb the final ladder, there is a small wooden railing overlooking the construction site. Lucas will walk to it and Amicia can join him, prompting a small scene and awarding the souvenir.

Chapter 6 Souvenirs (Leaving All Behind)

Souvenir #9 - Imagine You're Flying!

From Sub-Chapter - A Pilgrim Road

Shortly after the beginning of the chapter, Hugo and Amicia will find a traveling caravan of sorts, where many people have created an encampment. As the duo makes their way down into the tented area, they will come to a spot with a large tree, surrounded by tools and tables and flanked on many sides by various tents. There are a few individuals sitting near a fire and close to them is a man that's leaning up against one of the tents. If players walk over to where the man is standing, they will notice a small path that splits between the tents. Walking this path will eventually bring players to a swing, which they can interact with to see a scene and collect the souvenir.

Souvenir #10 - Which Colour Do You Want?

From Sub-Chapter - Call Of The Rats

Midway through Chapter VI, players will end up in a large warehouse-like area and Amicia will collapse to the ground, prompting Hugo to use a newfound rat-controlling ability to take out some nearby guards. After the guards are dealt with, players will regain control of Amicia and must lead her and Hugo across the rat-infested warehouse. Once they reach the other side and head up the stairway, they'll find a door near the end of the warehouse that they can pass through. Inside this door, there is a ladder to the right that heads up to a pathway. If players climb the ladder and run to the end of the walkway, they can crouch under the wall and progress into another room where they can drop down from the catwalk. Inside they'll find an array of fabrics and Hugo will remark about some nearby. Interacting with Hugo will cause a small cutscene and reward players with the souvenir.

Chapter 7 Souvenirs (Felons)

Souvenir #11 - The Survivor

From Sub-Chapter - Passage In The Caves

Shortly after the beginning of the Chapter, Arnaud will find himself in a predicament when the group finds themselves in a Rat's nest. After solving the nearby puzzle and exiting the cave (by following Arnaud and his flaming shield), the group will find themselves facing a small shipwreck in the distance. The souvenir players are looking for is on top of the ridge right up against this shipwreck. To get there, they simply need to walk around the cliff edge to the right of the boat until they find a spot they can climb up. Then it's as easy as heading to the end of the path and interacting with the prompt near the side of the wrecked ship.

Souvenir #12 - The First Men

From Sub-Chapter - The Fishing Village

This souvenir is a bit farther into the Chapter and comes during the outside section in which Amicia can give commands to Arnaud to have him "fight" nearby soldiers. As players make their way across these fields, they'll want to hug the large cliff wall to the left. By hugging this wall they will eventually come to a cave entrance and can navigate through it, dealing with soldiers, until coming out on the far side and dropping down into another field. Here, they will need to continue hugging the wall, past the soldiers, and to a small crack in some rocks that has a piece of wood covering it. After removing the wood and slipping through the crack, the group will find themselves in a new area with some buildings in the distance.

From here, players should immediately turn left around the corner and find a place to climb up. They can then head to the right and crouch to pass through a small opening and into a dark cave. There's a nearby torch on the wall that players can grab and use to head down the dark passageway. At the bottom, there is a wall with a bunch of painted hands adorning it. Interacting with it will give players the First Men souvenir.

Chapter 8 Souvenirs (A Sea Of Promises)

Souvenir #13 - Silent Lucinda

From Sub-Chapter - Celebration Of Brighter Days

Players won't be able to snag this souvenir until they arrive at the island of La Cuna, so they should simply progress the story until that happens. Once docked at the island, players can follow Arnaud up the nearby stairway and into the "square" where they are many stalls set up. Once there, players can head to the right, around the corner to the left, and then take the first right they see down an alleyway with a fence at the end. Here, there is a pen of goats and Hugo will run up to the fence to look in on them automatically. If players interact with the nearby prompt (close to the fence and Hugo) they will see a small scene and receive the souvenir.

Souvenir #14 - Flower Crown

From Sub-Chapter - Celebration Of Brighter Days

Once players reach the first square of the village, they'll be tasked with speaking to a couple of residents to see if they know anything about the location that Hugo has been seeing in his dream. Once players talk to enough residents, a new path (which was previously blocked by a guard) will open up and allow them to progress deeper into the village. Once players go up the stairs, they'll come to a fork with a small path leading left down a staircase and a longer path stretching forward. Players will want to turn left and head down the stairs.

Once players begin to walk down the staircase, they will see a special stall in the distance with four wreaths hanging from it. This stall is another game, similar to the one Amicia played in Chapter II. To get the souvenir, players simply need to toss the pots through the middle of the wreaths. Each shot must be perfect if players also want to snag the accompanying Achievement.

Chapter 9 Souvenirs (Tales And Revelations)

Souvenir #15 - A Thousand More Years

From Sub-Chapter - Exploration

After the chapter begins, players need to progress through the grounds of the palace, taking the multiple staircases down until they eventually reach a door with a soldier guarding it. Interacting with the soldier will put players outside the palace walls. From there, they'll want to immediately take the path to the right and follow it, staying on the dirt road as it winds around corners and down hillsides until they eventually reach a Phoenix Statue. From this statue, looking down the road, players will see a small house near the end of the path and a small gap between a short stone wall.

After making it to the small house, they'll want to move through the gap in the stone fence and continue on the new dirt path as it wraps around a corner. Once players round the corner, they'll spot a large tree, and interacting with it will start a scene that rewards the souvenir.

Souvenir #16 - Nice Screeching

From Sub-Chapter - Exploration

Like A Thousand More Years, players need to first leave the palace grounds and head outside. Once the cutscene where Amicia and Hugo meet back up with Sophia has ended, players can look off to the left and spot a ruined tower hiding among some trees way off in the distance. The next step is to make it to that tower, which is as easy as running down the stairs straight ahead, going around the Phoenix statue, and then running over the paths and hills to the tower itself. Once there, players will notice a hole in the wall where they can climb up and a locked door.

To unlock the door, players need to head around the tower to the left (from the opening) until they spot a small window. Amicia can use her sling to knock the door lock free by aiming it while looking through the window. After the lock is busted free, players can head back into the tower and through the door, climbing all the ladders they see to reach the top. Once at the top, they'll want to turn the camera, so it faces the other tower off in the distance and there will be a prompt near the edge of the roof. Activating it will start a small cutscene and reward the souvenir.

Souvenir #17 - Tramontane

From Sub-Chapter - On The Mountain

Once players find the Fresco-style Map in the Ruins and progress toward the sanctuary in the mountains, they'll find themselves on a new path heading upward. After a short time, they'll run into a large group of goats, as well as an NPC that informs them the gate is closed and tells them about an alternate path around the bend. He also informs them that he's missing one of his goats and to keep an eye out for her. Players can then turn to their left (if facing the gate) and head up the new path that climbs up into the mountains. Eventually, Amicia and her group will spot the ruins of an old building. Looking through the window, players can spot the NPC's missing goat.

Unfortunately, the door to get inside is locked. To open it, players need to head around the building and find a patch of grass to the right of the locked door. Amicia can throw an Ignifer onto the grass patch, which will cause it to burn to the ground and eventually disappear. Doing so will uncover a small hole at the base of the wall, which players can then command Hugo to crawl through. Doing so will have Hugo unlock the door and give players access to the inside. There, after a comment from Amicia, players can interact with the goat and see a small scene before receiving the souvenir.

Chapter 10 Souvenirs (Bloodline)

Souvenir #18 - A Rag Doll

From Sub-Chapter - Approaching The Fort

To snag this sad souvenir, players need to progress through Chapter X until they witness a scene in which Hugo loses his composure after witnessing some slavers killing innocents. He will call forth a group of rats and players will then need to cross a grassy field to regroup with him. After that's done, players will find themselves in front of a small archway that leads into a dilapidated building. As soon as players pass through the doorway, they should turn left to spot a post sticking from the ground. By using another small archway nearby the post, players can access it and use Amicia's Crossbow to attach to a bundle of ropes above a wall on the opposite end.

After pulling the bars free, players can climb the wall and round the corner to find the souvenir spot at the base of a twisted-looking tree.

Chapter 11 Souvenirs (The Cradle Of Centuries)

Souvenir #19 - The Chateau d'Ombrage

From Sub-Chapter - Defense System

Players need to progress through this chapter for quite a while until they find themselves in a massive underground area with a multitude of movable carts and braziers that are surrounded by rats. Once there, players can use the post in the middle to load Amicia's Crossbow and then aim at the cart all the way to the right (if players are facing the bridge and massive arched doorway in the distance). Once Amicia has pulled the cart close, players can walk to it and then proceed to push it all the way back to its original position. From there, they'll want to move to the right side of the cart and push it as far as it will go, until they reach an area that is blocked by a wrecked cart.

Players need to be sure they have at least one Tar that they can use to sling at the Fire Cart once they are down in the Souvenir area. Without a Tar to increase the brightness of the cart, players will not be able to climb back up without being swarmed by rats.

Facing the cart players should move to the left side of their own cart and then push it down the track once again until it will not go any further. At this point, they should be near the "edge" of the massive circular area. Just ahead of the cart and off the edge, there is an area where players can drop down into a hidden section. Unfortunately, there will likely be a line of rats guarding the area just past the cart and before the edge of the wall. To bypass them, players can have Sophia direct her prism at the cart and then walk backward off the edge (making sure to keep the cart in their sight as they do. Once down in the new area, players can interact with the nearby workbench and maps to get the souvenir.

Souvenir #20 - His Toys...

From Sub-Chapter - Aelia

After progressing further through the chapter, players will come to an area that features a massive iron door with multiple locks that players need to open. If players stand at the large iron door and turn around, they will see a small alcove shortly forward and to the left. Heading there, players will find a locked door and a small hole in the wall nearby. By commanding Hugo to crawl through the hole, he will unlock the door from the inside. Once inside, players can interact with the table to show a small scene and receive the souvenir.

Chapter 12 Souvenirs (The Life We Deserve)

  • There are no souvenirs to be found in this chapter.

Chapter 13 Souvenirs (Nothing Left)

Souvenir #21 - A Mess

From Sub-Chapter - Grief

Shortly after starting the Chapter, players will enter an open space in which Amicia must go off on her own. Heading to the right, she will spot a locked door and she can head around the wall to the right of the door to find a gap where she can shoot her sling at the door's "lock." After entering the newly unlocked door, players need to progress to the back hallway and pull the cart they find towards them. They'll then need to head back out the door and into the newly opened hallway. Around this bend players will find a room and just past it there will be a post where Amicia can shoot her crossbow from.

If players are facing this point, and they do a 180-degree turn they will see a cart against a back wall that they can move to the left. Doing so will open a hidden room and inside they will find a table that they can interact with to gain the souvenir.
