The said video involved parts of PewDiePie’s old content, but what’s more curious is that his channel also started broadcasting a few episodes of Trailer Park Boys, an iconic Canadian sitcom. Since PewDiePie had never mentioned anything about the curious incident, fans were left wondering if the internet celebrity has perhaps fallen victim to a hacking attempt, by some sort of mischievous cyber-criminal.

That being said, the truth appears to be different, as a media company called CoPilotMedia was supposedly behind the strange Twitch stream. The internet community speculates that PewDiePie has signed a secret deal with CoPilotMedia in order to generate some additional earnings for himself.

PewDiePie has already been able to amass a considerable amount of money throughout his illustrious career, thanks to numerous sponsorships. His official YouTube channel is sitting at 111 million subscribers, while his Twitch account boasts over 1.3 million followers.
