World-famous YouTuber PewDiePie is known for releasing videos on a near-daily basis, with each video earning millions of views in the process. As one of the most-subscribed YouTube channels there is, second only to T-Series, it's no surprise that PewDiePie works hard to keep fans engaged with his channel. While PewDiePie has kept to a fairly strict daily upload schedule for the most part, he has taken some breaks in the past, and in fact, has announced his next break from YouTube.

In a post to his YouTube community, PewDiePie confirmed that he is taking time off from the channel. Unfortunately, PewDiePie didn't specify exactly how long he would be taking off from uploading YouTube videos, but his last vacation lasted a little over a month. It's also unclear if PewDiePie's YouTube break applies to both his video upload schedule and streaming, or if he will still be streaming during his time off.

In both uploaded videos and during livestreams, PewDiePie has recently been producing Minecraft content. Last year, he also uploaded some Amnesia: Rebirth content, which is fitting since the original Amnesia played a big role in helping his channel become popular in the first place. Moving forward, fans can expect PewDiePie to continue uploading video game videos, which will likely include some gameplay of the latest popular games.

PewDiePie played some of 2020's biggest video games on his channel, including The Last of Us 2. PewDiePie's Last of Us 2 streams proved to be incredibly popular, as fans were interested to see how he would react to some of the game's more controversial moments. There are plenty of big games coming out in 2021 that could draw similar interest, so it will be interesting to see what titles PewDiePie features on his channel when he returns later this year.

In PewDiePie's message to his community, he also praised his followers for raising nearly $1 million for charity. PewDiePie's philanthropic efforts have been well-documented, as the YouTuber has used his platform to raise significant sums of money for various causes over the years and it seems as though he will continue to do so moving forward.
