Internet personality David Dobrik has recently been hit with sexual assault allegations, and opposing YouTube sensation PewDiePie has weighed in on the matter during a recent livestream, describing Dobrik as "shady" and "weird."

This isn't the first time David Dobrik has been the center of controversy. In the past, Dobrik came under fire for using racial slurs, and in a separate set of accusations, allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with minors. More recently, former Vlog Squad member Seth Francois accused the YouTuber of sexual assault and pressuring him into making sexual content that he hadn't consented to. In response to the kissing "prank," others have come forward with their own claims about Dobrik, including Bhad Bhabie, who called him "creepy" and said he owes her money.

During a recent livestream, YouTube personality PewDiePie offered his opinion on Dobrik and the situation seemingly in response to the chat talking about it. While Kjellberg says that he doesn't "know much about David," he explains that his "radar" always gave him the same off feelings that Logan Paul did prior to being canceled for his stunt in Japan. PewDiePie also says that Dobrik seems "hella shady," supporting similar criticism from other internet personalities.

PewDiePie gives Dobrik the credit that his videos are entertaining, however, he can't help but ask the question, "how does he get away will all this s***?" In the clip, Kjellberg refers to past instances where he received heated criticism for unsavory anti-Semitic jokes or slipping racial slurs while livestreaming. To PewDiePie, it seems like Dobrik is able to skirt mass criticism online in a way that he can't avoid.

Also in response to the nonconsensual prank that the YouTuber set up for Francois, users have been review bombing Dobrik's new app Dispo. Many of the negative reviews are telling Dobrik to "take accountability" for what he allegedly did to other creators, and asking others not to download the app or support the Vlog Squad.

But David Dobrik also responded to the sexual assault allegations against him through Scotty Sire in a recent video attempting to show that Francois had given Dobrik consent to the pranks at the time. The video also shows text messages and audio recordings where Francois says he's "down for another kissing sketch" and that he's "not gay" but is trying to be "more open-minded."

Despite this video in response, the criticism against Dobrik continues to be piled on thanks to internet celebrities like PewDiePie, but Dobrik has not responded to the situation since Sire's video.
