In case 2020 wasn't already enough of an absolute fever dream from which we can never wake, Mayor Pete and Bailey's mom are doing the Time Warp to get out the vote. Jack Black and Kyle Gass's comedy rock band Tenacious D have teamed up with one-time Democrat candidates Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren on a cover of the legendary musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show's most iconic song "Time Warp."

Featuring a whole host of cameos from the likes of Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, George Takei and original cast member Susan Sarandon, the video urges young voters to get out there and Rock-Y The Vote for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Since dropping out of the race to be the Democrat candidate, Pete Buttigieg has stood in as host for Jimmy Kimmel Live where he got to interview Arrested Development star Tony Hale and Captain Picard himself, Patrick Stewart. Elizabeth Warren, meanwhile, appeared in a cold open skit for Saturday Night Live shortly after ending her campaign.

For those who've never heard of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (TRHPS), it was originally a stage musical by writer and musician Richard O'Brien, a celebration of sci-fi and horor b-movies mixed with rock and roll. First staged in 1973, during the height of glam rock that made O'Brien feel he could be himself more, THRPS initial run was so successful that a cast recording was quickly released.

TRHPS's film adaptation soon followed in 1975 with original cast member Tim Curry in his career defining role as bisexual transvestite mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter and went on to become nothing short of a phenomenon. Still played at midnight showings in theaters across the world, TRHPS is the original cult success with screenings attended by fans dressed in outrageous costumes.
