Persona 5 Strikers continues the plot of the 2017 JRPG and brings back Joker and friends as they go on summer vacation, but of course, things take a turn for the worst. Developed by Omega Force and P-Studio, Strikers isn't the typical JRPG, as the combat is more Musou-like, similar to games like Dynasty Warriors and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Many Persona 5 fans are no doubt excited to jump back into Tokyo and bring the Phantom Thieves back together again, and if anyone is itching to play the game a little bit early, it's entirely possible if fans invest in the deluxe edition of the JRPG.

Persona 5 Strikers technically launches on February 23 for PC, PS4, and Switch for a base price of $59.99, but the deluxe edition allows players to start the game today on February 19th, four days before the game comes out. If fans are wondering what exactly comes included in the deluxe version, here's everything players need to know:

Persona 5 Strikers Deluxe Edition

The deluxe edition costs $10 more at $69.99 and comes with the following:

  • All-Out Attack Pack that includes: Boost Skills Pack, Basic Affinity Pack, Armor Pack,  10K Persona points, Enemy Debuff Skills Pack, Ally Buff Skills Pack
  • Persona 5 Strikers soundtrack with over 40 songs
  • Art book
  • Behind the scenes video
  • Persona Legacy BGM: Persona 1 and Persona 1 PSP remake, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Persona 3 and Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden

Paying $10 more for a game just to play it a couple of days early might not be super enticing, but for the hardcore Persona 5 fans out there, it's definitely a valid decision, especially if they want to check out the game's soundtrack and soundtracks for the older Persona titles. That All-Out Attack pack will also give players a boost during combat sequences to help out the inexperienced.

Persona 5 Strikers' reviews also came out last week and received mostly positive reception from outlets, including Game Rant. Persona 5 Strikers was scored 4 stars out of 5 and this was the closing statement: "There are kinks that could've been worked out, with battles lacking a significant degree of player feedback that unnecessarily inflating the game's difficulty. Strikers' story also takes a little too long to hit its stride, but it does reward players who stick around for the long haul. Acting as a sequel to the critically acclaimed JRPG, Persona 5 Strikers is a fantastic continuation for the Phantom Thieves."

Persona 5 Strikers is available now for deluxe edition owners, and everyone else can play once it launches on February 23rd for PC, PS4, and Switch.
