Persona 5 Strikers has brought a unique gameplay style to the Persona 5 sub-franchise, but many mechanics have stayed the same. Equipment mechanics are the same as Persona 5 proper, with accessories granting boosts to stats or providing useful elemental effects. Many accessories can be bought through stores or found in Jails, but there are also rarer accessories that can drop from boss fights.

Accessories can and should be swapped out often, as their effectiveness depends on the foes the Phantom Thieves are facing. However, certain characters' builds will lend better to certain accessories.

Joker

Joker's status as a wild card means that pretty much any accessory can be a boon to him, regardless of elemental affiliation. The best choices in normal gameplay would be stat buffs, but there are some special accessories that can turn the protagonist into a formidable powerhouse.

  • Grand Crystal: Has a chance to use Persona skills without consuming SP or HP. Found as a boss drop in "Painful Past+: Mariko Hyodo." If the game is in Merciless mode, then it is in Painful Past, minus the plus.
  • Omnipotent Orb: Nullifies damage from all skills except Almighty. Can only be found in New Game+, after defeating the Reaper in Merciless mode.
  • Life Pocketbook: Nullifies instant kill attacks. Can be found in the Sendai Jail.

Mona

Morgana's element is Wind, so a buff to that element is useful. A higher Luck stat means that Morgana will be able to land more critical hits and be affected less often by status ailments. Agility buffs will also increase his accuracy and evasion.

  • Bikkiken Statue: Grants +10 Lu stat. Rarest prize from the Shinsekai capsule machine.
  • Skanda Belt: Grants Auto-Sukukaja. Found in Sophia's shop and the "A Thief's Challenge: Panther" request.
  • Green Band: Strengthens Wind attacks. Can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.

Skull

Ryuji's element is Electric, so a boost to that is helpful, but even more helpful will be HP boosts to make up for the cost of his Physical attacks. Other accessories that buff Strength are also useful for Ryuji.

  • Stamina Sash: Gives a boost of +20 HP. Found in Sophia's shop and in Kyoto.
  • Vigor Sash: Gives a boost of +50 HP.  Found in the request "A Thief's Challenge: Wolf Pt. 2."
  • Yellow Band: Strengthens Elec attacks and can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.

Panther

Persona 5 Strikers Ann

Ann's fire abilities are one of her best skills, so boosts to her Fire attacks and her SP meter are good uses for her accessories. Buffing her Magic stat to make those skills stronger is also useful for her build.

  • Red Band: Strengthens Fire attacks and can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.
  • Witch Amulet: Boosts Ma +2. Found in Sophia's shop and in Kyoto.
  • Mind Choker: Gives a boost of +20 SP. Found in Sophia's shop and in Kyoto.

Fox

As he is an Ice user, buffing Ice and nerfing Fire damage are both good ways to keep Yusuke at his best in the party. Agility boosts will also improve his accuracy and evasion, which is especially useful for his physical attacks.

  • Comedian Strap: Boosts Ag +5. Can be found in Dotonbori, Osaka.
  • Ignis Ring: Reduces Fire damage. Can be found as a battle drop in the Sapporo Jail.
  • Blue Band: Strengthens Ice attacks and can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.

Queen

Makoto's Nuclear attacks can be boosted with accessories, or her HP can be boosted to help her take enemy attacks and pay for her physical skills. Strength boosts from Tarukaja will also make her hit harder, which fits her harsh fighting style.

  • Star Band: Strengthens Nuke attacks and can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.
  • Vigor Sash: Gives a boost of +50 HP.  Found in the request "A Thief's Challenge: Wolf Pt. 2."
  • Rakshasa Belt: Grants Auto-Tarukaja. Found in Sophia's shop and the "A Thief's Challenge: Panther" request.

Oracle

Futaba Sakura from Persona 5

As a support character who stays out of combat, most accessories have no real effect on Futaba. While there was a rumor among Persona 5 players that raising her Luck stat would increase the number of times her abilities would take effect, that was proven to be untrue.

In cases where you'll need to protect her, having her defense up is the best buff you can equip her with. The Armada Belt, which increases En +4, is found in the request "A Thief's Challenge: Wolf Pt. 2." However, you don't need to use your best accessories on Futaba.

Noir

Haru's Psychic attacks being boosted is always useful, but SP boosts are also quite welcome. The Impish Corsage is a special accessory that drains SP from foes when inflicting ailments, so Haru's Vertigo Attack has the chance of giving her an SP boost along with inflicting Dizzy. HP boosts for her physical attacks are another suggestion for her build.

  • Impish Corsage: Drains SP when inflicting an ailment on a foe. Boss drop in Painful Past+: Alice Hiiragi.
  • Mind Band: Strengthens Psy attacks and can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.
  • Coral Necklace: Gives a boost of +30 HP. Can be found at the Okinawa Ferry Dock.

Sophia

Sophia P5 Strikers

Sophia is a support character, who isn't a heavy hitter but makes up for that in buffs and healing. As such, her SP should be kept high and those buffs should be reinforced with accessories. Luck is also useful to keep her out of harm's way and help her hit harder.

  • Soul Choker: Gives a boost of +30 SP. Can be found in the request "A Thief's Challenge: Wolf, Pt. 2."
  • Vajra Belt: Grants Auto-Rakukaja. Found in Sophia's shop and the "A Thief's Challenge: Panther" request.
  • Fortune Bell: Boosts Lu +5. Found in the North Shrine Shop, Mt. Aoba Park.

Wolf

Zenkichi The Wolf

Zenkichi is partially support, but he also holds his own as a fighter. His persona has Gun abilities, so a boost to those is always useful. Keeping his HP high so he can tank better is also suggested, as well as buffing his strength.

  • Charming Sticker: Increases +St gauge rate. Can be found in the request "A Thief's Challenge: Wolf, Pt. 2."
  • Gun Band: Strengthens Gun attacks and can stack. Found in Sophia's shop and the "Trapped in a Nightmare" request.
  • Stamina Sash: Gives a boost of +20 HP. Found in Sophia's shop and in Kyoto.

Persona 5 Strikers is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Switch.
