10 Yusuke's Personas

Yusuke Kitagawa from Persona 5

Yusuke Kitagawa is one of the oddest members of the team. He seems like nothing more than a quirky artist who might be a bit too attached to his art for his own good, but watching him be ruthlessly exploited by Madarame makes players feel genuinely sorry for him.

Thankfully, he manages to awaken his Persona and become a main member of the Phantom Thieves. All of his Personas correspond to the Emperor Arcana, which is fitting given his flamboyant personality.

Goemon

Goemon's awakening in Persona 5

Goemon is the Persona Yusuke starts out with in Persona 5 Royal. His attacks are of the Ice element while also having some great Physical abilities as well. Players who want to conserve SP during a run through a Palace will be pretty well-serviced with Goemon's wealth of abilities.

Kamu Susano-o

Yusuke attains this Persona after Joker forms an unbreakable bond with him at Confidant Level 10. Goemon transforms into Kamu Susano-o with Yusuke experiencing a breakthrough of his own. This Persona completely nullifies Ice and resists Wind as well, although its weakness to Fire still remains.

Gorokichi

In Persona 5 Royal, players who have leveled up Yusuke's Confidant to the max get a special scene with him during the final semester. His Persona evolves for a final time into the powerful Gorokichi, giving him one of the most powerful abilities in the game. Hyakka Ryouran increases the stats of all party members for three turns, although its high SP cost means that Yusuke should use it sparingly.

This treasure demon is named after a historically significant gem that is connected to bother French royalty and a conquerer. Like others based on valuable goods, Regent has a wealth of skills available right away, all of which are multi-target magical attacks. They even have a trait that strengthens them all by 20%.

This level 10 persona, unfortunately, cannot be summoned and must be found in Mementos or in one of the various palaces one must traverse throughout the main story.

8 Eligor

This demon, written of in The Lesser Key of Solomon as well as other occult grimoires, appears as a level 16 persona in the form of an armored warrior astride a mighty steed. In P5R, he has lightly damaging skills in addition to a fire one that makes him a decent level 16 summon. He can be fused from Angel and Jack-o'-Lantern for ¥7,975.

In Egyptian mythology, Thoth is sometimes also depicted as having the head of a thin-beaked bird known as an ibis. They are a god of time and balance, said to have been born during the very first moment of creation and has since measured all time that followed.

Their skills are quite varied, as they possess defensive buffs, offensive debuffs, power-up moves, and more. However, the most notable skill this level 36 persona has is the rare Almighty one called Megido, which does moderate neutral magical damage to all foes. They can be summoned by merging Principality and Jikokuten for ¥46,495.

5 Barong

This Balinese god is the positive half of an eternal battle between good and evil. They oppose the hateful witch Rangda, though the battle constantly wavers from one side to the other throughout the course of history. Barong can unleash heavy Electric attacks and even suppress an enemy's resistance to this element for guaranteed massive damage.

At level 52, they are a great persona to bring into one of the longer palaces because of their Invigorate 2 passive skill that recovers 5 SP per turn while in battle. This fierce deity can be fused by polymerizing Unicorn and Thunderbird for ¥85,771.

4 King Frost

This naive monarch presides over all Jack Frosts and is a figure originally from The Frost Fairies, a story by the author Margret T. Canby. As one would expect from his name and in-game description, he possesses primarily Ice-type skills. At level 61, this winter warlock can unleash heavily damaging Ice skills, but more importantly, can buff them and debuff enemies to increase their effectiveness.

He has passive and support skills capable of decreasing an enemy's resistance to Ice damage, increase the chances of his attacks freezing foes, and even boost all of his most chilling assaults by a huge 50%. Although there are quite a few cheaper fusions, the least expensive one that is guaranteed to call King Frost forth is the one that merges Ganesha and Seth for ¥163,468.

3 Oberon

This fairy monarch was made most famous by appearing in the Shakespearian play A Midsummer Night's Dream. He is seen as whimsical, to some degree, but this is deceptive and belittles his true power. In Persona 5 Royal, Oberon possesses heavily damaging Electric and physical attacks as well as quite a few handy support skills.

One of which is the always-useful Samarecarm, which can revive a fallen ally with full health. This level 66 persona of great versatility can be fused from mixing Kali and Black Rider for ¥220,816.

2 Baal
