Morgana is one of the standout characters from Persona 5 and has become a breakout star in his own right. Following the success of Persona 5, the game's protagonist Joker was added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate while Morgana was recently added to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as a playable character. With the excitement surrounding the announcement of Morgana's inclusion in the new Super Monkey Ball, many fans have started wondering what other games the adorable cat could pop up in, and there are some very good possibilities.

In Persona 5 Morgana is a party member who joins Joker on a quest to recover lost memories. His primary appearance resembles a tuxedo cat with a large head while he can also take the form of a van in the Metaverse. When in the real world, however, Morgana looks like little more than an adorable house cat, although it's his personality that has largely seen the character win over fans. Morgana has a constant ongoing identity crisis from a lack of all of his memories, which leads to some key comedic moments that bring some levity to Persona 5 and help cement Morgana as one of the most popular characters from Persona's 25-year history. This makes Morgana perfect for more crossovers in other games to help build excitement for Persona 6 and attract new players to Persona 5.

Monster Hunter: Rise

Monster Hunter: Rise is the newest entry in the classic franchise featuring varied weaponry and tactics to take down gigantic beasts. To help them, players have companions in the form of Felynes and Palamutes. The Monster Hunter series is also well known for crossovers with Monster Hunter Rise even recently hinting at a crossover event with Sonic the Hedgehog.

This makes Monster Hunter: Rise a perfect candidate for a crossover featuring Morgana, especially with Monster Hunter: Rise's upcoming release on PC. It would be interesting to see a unique quest in Monster Hunter: Rise that takes hunters to the metaverse, while players could also have Morgana as their Felyne and even unlock a costume for their regular Felyne to make them resemble Morgana. The game's release on PC would also be perfect for Persona 5 to help expose the game's audience to the series and try to get them interested in the Steam version of Persona 4 Golden or, hopefully, a future PC port of Persona 5 as well.

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world RPG that has maintained a large player base since its release just over a year ago. Available on mobile and PlayStation 4, the game has featured numerous crossovers over its lifespan, and the Persona series would be a great match for the game. Genshin Impact revolves around players collecting a wide cast of playable heroes to use, level up, and customize, and Persona's massive stable of characters would fit well into that formula so that all fans would be able to get a character that they like in the game.

Morgana could be an unlockable character that could join the player's party with unique abilities that could take inspiration from his various forms and abilities in Persona 5's metaverse. Another option would be for Morgana to play a more administrative role in the crossover event, likely having players collecting a resource or completing objectives themed around the crossover, and Morgana would be a great option for the NPC that players talk to during the event for quests and rewards. The developers could also pull from Persona's Metaverse to help make the crossover feel completely unique and unlike any of Genshin Impact's previous crossovers as well.

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing is a series all about players building and maintaining a community for a number of varied and unique animal friends. The series has not had too many crossovers in the past, except for its additions of Sanrio items and characters as well as Legend of Zelda in older entries, but Morgana would be a very interesting crossover if the series does start being more open to the idea. Morgana's appearance as an anthropomorphized cat would help him fit right in with the crowd in Animal Crossing, while his unique personality would also help him stand out from other villagers in the game.

A crossover event including Morgana could also bring a lot of unique items to Animal Crossing for players to unlock or craft. The Persona series has a very unique aesthetic that would contrast a lot with Animal Crossing's softer visual style. This would be great to not only make the event feel special and unique from anything else currently in the series, but it also would let players customize their houses and island in a new colorful way. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting some new content soon, so, hopefully, it will also be revealed that Nintendo is opening up the series to more crossovers and new events for players to check out.

There are many options that Persona could pursue for future crossovers and interactions with other titles. Persona 5 has already gotten a good number of cameos in other titles, which has been great for the game so far, so hopefully, it will continue getting more going forward as well. Persona 5 has a number of fantastic characters to utilizes in those crossovers, with Morgana being a fantastic option with how iconic he has become for the series. Hopefully, the series developer Atlus will have something to share with fans soon.

Persona 5 is available now on PS3 and PS4.
