With Persona 5 Royal recently bringing the Phantom Thieves back to the screen, it seems a lot of players are rediscovering their love for the 2017 smash hit. Not only has Royal revitalized the game - adding brand new characters, abilities, and story beats - but it seems many fans simply wanted to return to the RPG, especially as its viewed by many as one of the best games of the modern generation.

It seems one pizza chain completely agrees with that sentiment, as Domino's Pizza recently released a bizarre Persona 5 themed ad on its Twitter in conjuncture with the game's re-release. Riffing on the game's iconic turn-based battle system, Dominos has replaced a number of the menu's words to refer to customers ordering a pizza.

This includes subbing out the gun, persona, and weapon slots for crust type, cheese smash, and chili flakes options respectively. It's undeniably a wacky and incredibly creative advert that appeals to a very select section of Domino's Pizza's audience, who are responding hilariously to the inspired promotion.

"I see. You're man of culture as well," one commenter states, while a second asks the real questions, responding "Dominoes can you agree that Makoto is in fact, best girl?" Regardless, it's great to see Persona getting some mainstream attention, especially as the title is easily one of the most expansive and brilliant video game releases of the last few years.

Persona 5 Royal is out now for PS4.
