Following last week’s big re-releases, Atlus is keeping the Persona momentum going by putting five new soundtracks on multiple streaming services. Fans can expect to see OSTs from the Persona dancing games, Persona 3 Portable, and a newly released live album encompassing the whole Persona franchise on Spotify or their music streaming service of choice.Last week was huge for Atlus, and Persona fans as Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden finally broke out of their PSP confines and found their way to modern platforms like the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. These re-releases came after plenty of asking by fans and after Atlus tested the waters with the PC release of Persona 4 Golden in 2020. Notably, almost a year after the PC release of Persona 4 Golden, Atlus and Sega would also release a treasure trove of Persona tracks on Spotify, listing over 700 tracks from the mainline and rhythm games under one playlist titled “Persona OST.”RELATED: New 25th Anniversary Persona Merchandise Includes Household ItemsNow Persona fans can get even more music from the beloved JRPG franchise in their ears with the release of five additional soundtracks from across the Persona dancing games, Persona 3 Portable, and a new live album from a franchise celebration concert in 2017. The complete list of OSTs includes Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night, Persona 5 Dancing Star Night, Persona Dancing P3D & P5D - Advanced Edition, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb. All five soundtracks can be easily found on Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube Music, but they don’t seem to have been packaged as neatly in one playlist as 2021’s initial OST release.

Fans can expect to hear plenty of remixes and previously unreleased tracks from the Persona series, including a Jazztronik remix of the classic “Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There” track from Persona 5 and Royal, or extended mixes of the catchy Persona 3 Dancing and Persona 5 Dancing tracks in the newly digitally released Advanced Edition OST. Also of note is that this is the first time the Persona 3 Portable soundtrack has been available digitally, featuring a few unreleased songs exclusive to the female protagonist.

Although it did take many years and a bit of convincing, it is great to see Atlus re-releasing some of its most cherished Persona games and beloved soundtracks to modern platforms and new audiences. The studio has said that porting Persona 3 Portable and Golden was a difficult and painstaking process, but it seems like the effort paid off, as JRPG fans have been generally enthusiastic about these re-releases. Hopefully, whatever Atlus has in store for the future of Persona will be equally accessible right from the start.
