Perfect Match star Francesca Farago is not happy about how she was portrayed on the hit Netflix reality dating show, going as far as to say she was dehumanized by the way it was edited. Perfect Match premiered on Netflix on Valentine's Day with a unique concept. It pulled popular participants from other Netflix shows and tasked them with finding their "perfect match" by going on dates, competing in compatibility challenges, and living with each other at an extravagant villa.

The following article has MAJOR SPOILERS for Perfect Match

One of the standout participants on Perfect Match was Francesca Farago, who initially rose to fame thanks to her appearance on the first season of Too Hot to Handle. Francesca matched with three people over the course of the show, initially matching with eventual Perfect Match winner Dom before moving on to Damian and Abbey. Francesca then matched with Damian again, but ultimately removed herself from the villa at the end of the show.

While reality TV is supposed to be unscripted, it's no secret that the shows are edited in a way to portray certain people as heroes and others as villains to create drama and storylines. Francesca is clearly portrayed as a villain during certain episodes of Perfect Match, and she is not happy about this portrayal. Speaking to Insider, Francesca said that she was "not happy" with how she was edited and that she put more trust in the production than she should have. "I was upset that they dehumanized me as much as they did," Francesca told Insider. She added that some producers of the show who weren't involved with editing it actually apologized to her for the way that she was portrayed.

Francesca's criticism about the way she was portrayed on Perfect Match is far from the only drama that's surrounded the show. Perfect Match winners Dom and Georgia have traded barbs on social media, while literally every other couple that was together by the finale has broken up in real life. But while none of the Perfect Match couples are still together, two contestants that weren't matched have allegedly been dating.

There was some buzz online that Savannah and Zay from Perfect Match may be dating in real life, though that hasn't been confirmed in an official capacity. While Perfect Match has definitely failed as a way for people to actually find their "perfect match," it seems popular enough that one has to wonder if Netflix is going to consider producing another season. Netflix subscribers are still waiting to hear on renewals for other reality shows, like The Circle, but hopefully more information comes to light sooner rather than later.

Perfect Match is streaming now on Netflix.
