Hit Netflix reality TV series Perfect Match has wrapped up its first season with multiple couples paired together at the time of the finale, but some time has passed since the show was filmed. While Perfect Match just started airing this past Valentine's Day, the reality show was actually filmed last year. Considering this, there was plenty of time for couples to split up or stay together after filming.

This article will have MAJOR SPOILERS for Perfect Match

Perfect Match Season 1 ended with Dom and Georgia being voted the titular "Perfect Match," but they weren't the only couple that were officially an item at the time of the finale. Chloe and Shayne were also matched up during the Perfect Match finale, as were Joey and Kariselle. In fact, one of the most shocking moments for Netflix subscribers watching the finale was Joey's proposal to Kariselle, with the end credits showing Joey breaking the big news to his mom.

Of course, reality TV is known for fabricating stories and relationships, and so it's difficult to say really how genuine many of the relationships on the show really were. And when one considers that more than one couple featured on Perfect Match live in different countries in real life, it's easy to see why many fans may be wondering just how each couple is doing after the end of the show.

Unfortunately, none of the three couples that were together at the end of Perfect Match are still dating in real-life. Joey and Kariselle have called off their engagement, Georgia and Dom broke up, and Chloe and Shayne have gone their separate ways. This will likely be a disappointing revelation for fans of the Netflix show, but others likely assumed that this would be the outcome for most of the couples.

Netflix has yet to renew Perfect Match for a second season, but considering the show's popularity, it wouldn't be surprising to see it happen. Netflix subscribers can expect the streaming giant to continue pursuing reality TV in general, as it is significantly cheaper than producing scripted content. That being said, some of Netflix's biggest reality shows still have yet to be renewed for another season. Not only have fans yet to hear if Perfect Match is going to be renewed for a season 2 or not, they still don't know if they can expect to see another season of The Circle. Hopefully more information on that front comes sooner rather than later.

Perfect Match is streaming now on Netflix.
