Xbox Game Pass members get access to new games every month. The Xbox Game Pass library is ever-evolving, as Microsoft even adds some games as day one releases to the collection. The same is true for PC Game Pass, which sometimes gets titles not available on console.

QuakeCon 2022 starts today August 18, and Bethesda is hosting a special event at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 6 pm BST on its Twitch channel to celebrate the occasion. The event will be digital-only and it will take place from August 18 to August 20. QuakeCon 2022 seems to be packed with exciting info as fans will get to see presentations on Redfall, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, and more. Microsoft is also celebrating QuakeCon 2022 by adding some games to the Xbox Game Pass library on PC and giving away more games for free on its store.

As revealed by a tweet from the official Game Pass account, PC Game Pass adds some classic Bethesda games to the collection. This list comprises Return to Castle Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, Quake 4, Wolfenstein 3D, and An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire. PC Game Pass members can download and play these games today at no extra.

According to Video Games Chronicle, a few more Bethesda games will be available for free on the Microsoft Store. This lineup includes Quake Champions, The Elder Scrolls: Arena, and The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall. Furthermore, fans will be available to buy Heretic: Serpent Riders, Hexen: Beyond Heretic, and Hexen: Deathkings from the Microsoft Store.

Additionally, Bethesda is discounting several games for QuakeCon 2022. Fans can find games from popular Bethesda franchises including Doom, The Elder Scrolls, and Fallout at a discount of up to 70%. Other games from Bethesda’s vast catalog, such as Prey and Deathloop, are also on sale. This sale is not limited to PC either as Bethesda fans on Nintendo Switch can also take advantage of the cheaper prices.

Even though QuakeCon is a Bethesda-centered event, fans should not expect more news on its whole lineup. Highly anticipated games such as The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield are not scheduled to be at QuakeCon 2022, as they will probably be reserved for Microsoft’s main presentations. Still, QuakeCon 2022 will have other interesting events, such as quizzes, a competition to determine the best sweet roll, and a tour of Tokyo in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
