The GO Bank Heist in Payday 2 is a small bank robbery that can be completed with two different strategies. Players can use stealth to infiltrate the base or fight their way into the vault. While it is a small heist, there are guards and cameras in the bank. On higher difficulties, using a stealth build is the safer choice.

However, those that have enough firepower can force their way into the vault. This guide will mention ten tips for completing the heist at Risk Level 6. Patience and determination will be key while attempting to steal the unmarked notes in this mission.

10 Mask Up And Subdue The People At The Gas Station

Even if the plan is to go in guns blazing, wearing a mask will help to minimize the number of people that spot players on the way to the bank. There are three people in the gas station by the spawn point. Each should be tied up to prevent them from leaving. There is some cash in the register too. Once the gas station is secured, gamers can plan to cross the street.

9 Watch Out For The Cops By The Semi

Cops will sometimes spawn outside of the gas station near the semi-truck. The crew will want to keep an eye out for the cops before moving across the way to the bank. To avoid them, players can sneak their way on the right side of the map. This is where the safest entrance to the bank is anyway, as explained in the next section.

8 Getting To The Bank

Pay Day 2 GO Heist Jimbo's

The safest route to the bank is through Jimbo's Auto Shop on the right side of the map. Players will want to head right on the same side of the street as the gas station and cross to the auto shop. The door on the right side of the building will lead people to the back of the shop, which is adjacent to the bank. As soon as players walk left through the courtyard, they will be in the parking lot at the back of the bank.

7 Waiting For The Guards To Move

This is primarily for the meta stealth builds, but the back door by the ladder is the preferred entry point. Obviously, it is entirely possible to stealth part of the way through and rely on brute force to finish the mission too.

There will be a guard that walks from the lobby to one of the back rooms, passing the back door in the process. Be patient and wait for the guard to walk into one of those back rooms. Ideally, the guard will walk all the way to the end of the hall and turn left, and that is when he should be taken down.

6 Answer The Pager

When guard one goes down, he will receive a page. Players must answer this pager to keep the heat off of their backs. At this point, they can either hide the body or fight their way to the keycards. The other guard will be at the front of the building on patrol.

He needs to be killed, and players need to answer the second pager as well. Taking the first guard out gives the crew time to scramble communications and take care of the cameras.

5 Smile, You're On TV

Using ECM feedback is a good idea to keep the remaining guard(s) from signaling for backup. There are a total of four cameras inside the bank. One is in the hallway, and the other three are on the walls in the lobby. Destroying all of these needs to be a priority. The final camera is outside of the front entrance by the tables. This camera can be shot down while dealing with the front door security guard.

4 Let Me See Your Manager

One of the employees will almost always have a keycard. Tie them up to see which person has one. The manager is usually the NPC that carries it, but one of the tellers behind the desk might have one as well. The crew should make sure to bring a few cable ties just in case they have bad luck guessing which NPC is carrying the card.

3 Finding Vault Card 2

The second key card can be in a number of places. Sometimes it will be in the red briefcase on the counter in the bank. It also has a small chance to appear in the cars at the front and back of the bank. After a careful search of these areas, the second card should turn up. If it doesn't, make sure all of the employees have been searched.

2 Answer The Phone And Wait For The Timelock

Pay Day 2 GO Heist Phone Call

If the two keycards have been acquired, it becomes possible to initiate the timelock for the vault. Soon after, the phone will ring, and players should answer. It will take two minutes for the timelock to complete. When the vault opens, make sure to wait for the lasers to align in a pattern that will not incinerate the character. Once inside, it is time to secure the bag.

1 Saw Away

Pay Day 2 GO Heist Vault

Players can whip out the saw and destroy as many deposit boxes as possible. Ammo bags will be needed for the saw during the process. They can be placed right by the entrance for ease of access. About 30 seconds after the vault opens, another phone call will come in. Make sure to answer the call as soon as possible. As long as players answer the phone and remember that the lasers are blocking the vault, they will finish the mission with a decent bounty.
