Didn't get to go PAX Prime this year in lovely Seattle? Don't worry, you'll get another chance to check out what a nerd mecca might look like out in Boston. PAX East 2011 pre-registration, where you can get your passes for cheaper, is open right now. Where can you perform this somewhat sacred ritual of reserving your 3-Day pass? Directly on the PAX East website, of course. What are you waiting for? Do it now. Did you do it yet? Good.
The wonders of the Penny Arcade Expo are many. A wondrous place where you can play new videogames, try out new board and card games, and hang out with people who are like-minded and generally pretty nice. Game Rant's recent trip was filled with all these aforementioned things and more. It's so incredibly hard to describe the atmosphere, but it is truly one to behold and be a part of.
Be a part of one of the largest growing conventions on the East Coast where you can be some of the first people to witness huge announcements in the gaming industry, like Duke Nukem Forever for example. Not to mention, meet some of your favorite icons in nerd culture and maybe even touch them, if they let you. There's very little more of me to say that could convince you to go. It's an amazing place with amazing things and amazing people. If you ever wanted to improve your life in any kind of way whatsoever, do yourself a favor and check out PAX East 2011, even if it's just for a day.
What say you, Ranters? Have you participated in the PAX festivities in prior years? Do you have what it takes to make it to 2010's PAX East? Can you maintain the constitution to play video games, board games, card games, dice games and other nefarious rituals for three days straight? Game Rant thinks you can and do. Make it happen.
