Starz released the first Party Down season 3 trailer. The sitcom, starring Ken Marino and Adam Scott, follows the employees of an LA-based catering company as they try to balance work life and career aspirations.

Created by John Enbom, Rob Thomas, Dan Etheridge, and Paul Rudd, the first season of Party Down premiered on Starz in 2009. While the series has developed a strong following over the years, it initially had poor viewership ratings. On top of that, the series lost two of its lead actors to other shows. Jane Lynch, who starred as former actress Constance Carmell, left the show due to her commitment to the massively popular Fox series Glee. Scott also left the series after he was cast as Ben Wyatt in Parks and Recreation.

As a result, Party Down was cancelled after two seasons. However, in November 2021, Starz ordered a six-episode revival of the series starring most of the original cast members, including Martin Starr, Megan Mullally, and Ryan Hensen. The new Party Down trailer opens with Marino's character Ron, who appears to be living in the Party Down catering company van. As he answers his phone, Ron stumbles out of the van in his underwear, attempting to be cordial to the potential client. He manages to book an event, only to realize that someone has spray-painted a massive neon green penis on the side of the van. The Party Down season 3 trailer continues as the rest of the gang begrudgingly lines up for a group photo.

Ron seems to be in over his head as team lead, trying to manage new employees and clients. Scott's character, Henry, reaffirms that this job is not what he expected to be doing in his 40s. Chaos ensues, and new cast member Jennifer Garner asks Ron if he's okay after getting slammed into a table. Ron tries to play it cool until he reveals that his pinky finger is broken. The rest of the Party Down season 3 trailer sees Ron struggling to stay afloat, along with guest stars Quinta Brunson and James Marsden making small cameos.

Marino is best known for his comedic roles, including Showtimes 1980s stock market series Black Monday and the medical series parody Children's Hospital. He is also known for starring in the comedy feature Wet Hot American Summer and the Netflix series of the same name. Scott is best known for playing Ben Wyatt in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. He is also known for his roles in films like Step Brothers and Martin Scorsese's historical biopic, The Aviator. More recently, he starred in the highly-rated Apple TV Plus series Severance, which has been renewed for a second season.

Party Down season 3 will premiere on Starz on February 24th, 2023.
