NBC's long-running sitcoms like The Office and Parks and Recreation have had a huge shelf life on Netflix, and soon the latter program will be available on NBC's new streaming service Peacock. Before then, the stars of Parks and Recreation will be getting together again on April 30 to do an at-home reunion special to raise money for the nonprofit Feeding America.

The television drive to raise money for Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund is being done in collaboration with the insurance company State Farm. Among the cast members confirmed to be returning are Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Rashida Jones, and Amy Poehler — who recorded the announcement video put out by NBC on Twitter Thursday.

No specific time is given for when the special will air in its announcement video, but it is confirmed that the special will be available on "streaming the next day." NBCUniversal recently confirmed that multiple original shows for Peacock have been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Last month Fortnite player Tyler "Ninja" Blevins announced he was donating $150,000 to Feeding America to help support families in response to the ongoing pandemic.

The Parks and Recreation reunion special will air on NBC on April 30.
