The Overwatch community has a reputation for creating excellent skin concepts, and one artist has turned their attention to the tank hero Roadhog. While one may not expect to see the dangerous Australian in a suit, it is hard to argue against how well the Overwatch character pulls off the look.

Coming completely out of left field, Redditor gr0verd0g’s Roadhog design imagines the tank as an influential member of Wall Street. Rather than the usual shirtless looks boasted by Roadhog, the art shows the hero cleaning up his act, rocking a clean pair of pants to match his suit top. A bit different from recent Overwatch skin concepts themed around the holidays, the upside of this Roadhog concept sees the character rocking a look that works year-round.

A likely fit for one of Overwatch’s special skin challenges or the Anniversary event, the concept is memorable and well-detailed. Concept creator gr0verd0g provides the bodyguard of Junkrat with a ruby-covered hook and gold scrap gun, with Roadhog having several large rings attached to his fingers. The stylish look also sees a massive gold watch on Roadhog’s arm, a great touch that adds a bunch of personality to the skin concept. Roadhog also sees his nails painted blue, a smart decision due to the matching suit jacket.

With Roadhog being one of the few characters to not get a realistic Overwatch portrait due to his iconic gas mask, it is fitting that some extra love is given to the face covering tool here. A huge part of Roadhog’s personality and backstory, the mask always remains attached to the hero, with this design giving the gas mask massive diamonds in place of filters and eye sockets. A special “HOG” belt buckle completes the “Wallstreet Roadhog” look, with commenters quick to call out the similarities between the unique concept and the design of Marvel villain Kingpin.

While some players have been vocal about Blizzard reworking the Overwatch hero, others love the character as is, with many Roadhog fans gathering in the comments of the post to make suggestions for skin features if it was added to the game. Voice lines such as “business is booming,” “STONKS,” and “who’re you callin’ a fatcat?” were suggested. Other users pushed for a Monopoly Man mustache, while Redditor EnjoysYelling suggested making the hook a dollar sign. Smotheracc built off the idea, saying that Roadhog’s hook “should make a ka-ching sound” when landed successfully.

Clearly, fans are in love with the skin concept, and plenty would be happy to see it appear alongside Roadhog's new Frosty skin. With a lore explanation possible via Roadhog’s love for money and heists, Blizzard should contact gr0verd0g about making the awesome concept a reality.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
