Ever since its launch yesterday, fans around the world have been caught up with Overwatch's Uprising event, a unique in-game world event that doesn't coincide with a real life holiday or seasonal occasion. While the event is a welcome treat for the community, fans may want to consider sinking even more hours into the Uprising event because there are secret conversation lines to be unlocked.

In a new post over at the Blizzard Forums, Overwatch lead writer Michael Chu revealed that there are more conversations to be heard between Reinhardt, Mercy, Tracer, and Torbjorn in the Uprising event. In order to unlock these extra lines in the party's conversation pool, players simply have to win more matches in the default Uprising event game mode. The Overwatch development team also managed to squeeze in some new voice lines for each character in the Uprising event's all heroes mode, so it's not all just Reinhardt, Mercy, Tracer, and Torjborn who get all the new conversations.

It is not yet known whether there are new conversations to be unlocked in the new all heroes mode, so the prospect of snappy, Uprising-specific banter between Reaper and Soldier 76 may remain as a fantasy for now. As for how many extra lines there are, Chu didn't reveal any specific number, so players will simply have to discover them all for themselves by playing (and winning) the Uprising event's default brawl.

The reveal of extra conversation lines is a welcome addition to what has been an event filled with new content and some some intriguing Easter eggs, such as a new spray referencing Widowmaker's tragic backstory. Not only are there two new game modes that take place in a refurbished version of the King's Row map, there are also many new Uprising-specific cosmetic items up for grabs until the event ends in May.

With two or so weeks to go before the Uprising event ends, there's still plenty of time for players to unlock all the secret conversation lines. Given that the next Overwatch hero is reportedly "very far along" in development, here's hoping that the developers have hidden a small tease on the character's identity in one of these secret conversation lines.

Overwatch is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
