BlizzCon 2018 is still a few weeks away, and just as it was in previous events, Overwatch fans who will be attending the conference in person or those who will opt to tune in via live stream events will be rewarded with in-game goodies. For this year, a Legendary Skin for the character Sombra will be given to those participating in the upcoming event.

An Overwatch player recently discovered the latest legendary skin in-game and posted his findings on Reddit. The skin is not playable and cannot be viewed or purchased in the hero gallery, but it seems that Blizzard accidentally made the skin viewable in the hero select screen (it has since been removed).

Blizzard is scheduled to broadcast its All-Access BlizzCon pre-show later today at 3 PM PT, where the developer is expected to officially reveal the new legendary Overwatch skin. Moreover, the show will also be the venue for the studio to announce more details on the upcoming BlizzCon, such as schedules and other in-game purchases available for those attending the conference.

Last year, BlizzCon attendees were able to redeem a multitude of rewards for their ticket purchase that included goodies from Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and other games under the Blizzard umbrella.

In other Overwatch news, Blizzard added a new map yesterday that takes players to the city of Busan in South Korea. The latest control map is made up of three unique areas such as Sanctuary, Downtown, and the MEKA base. Blizzard also explained that Busan will be different than traditional control maps as it will feature a moving terrain design to aid in map strategies.

Initially released three years ago, Overwatch still enjoys an active player base that is seeing a steady increase due to Blizzard’s efforts to continuously support the game by consistently adding fresh content. For those who are still yet to play Overwatch, the game is currently available in Humble Bundle, which gives players the standard edition of the game together with a few mystery titles.

Overwatch is now available on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
