Between unreliable teammates and the insane level of competition, Overwatch can be difficult enough without any additional layers of complication. At least that's the case for the average player. One Twitch streamer doesn't quite fall into that category and decided to make the game a little more interesting with a very flavorful custom controller for one specific character.

Anyone who has played Overwatch since the game launched (or Heroes of the Storm) is likely familiar with Lucio, his rollerblades, and his sonic amplifier. Although Twitch streamer Rudeism hasn't recreating the skates (at least not yet), he has managed to make a functional controller version of the character's trademark weapon.

Rudeism calls his creation the Airzooka and claims that at this point it is 90% functional. Check it out in action right here...

As you can see in the video, the controller works way better than it looks like it should. Perhaps even more impressive than the controller itself is the streamer's ability to actually do well in the match with the unwieldy object. It really says a lot about his skill level that he's able to stay on top of his game while he is toying around with a prototype controller.

Rudeism has been working on the controller for a while now and documenting the process on his stream. Take a look back through his Twitch highlights or his Twitter to see the work in progress photos and videos as the airzooka came to life. We're looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
