Overwatch's official Twitter account has revealed that the game's Summer Games event will begin tomorrow on Tuesday, August 4th. Alongside this announcement came multiple tweets and videos that show off the event's brand new legendary skins.

With the Summer Games event returning to Overwatch this year, many of the event's legendary skins are expected to be themed around sports, summer fun, and sometimes all of the above. This is especially true with Fareeha "Pharah" Amari's newly revealed upcoming legendary skin.

Pharah's new skin is lifeguard themed with her wearing a swimsuit under her armor and with her armor being fitted with various pieces of rescue equipment. Her hair is also pulled back into a neat ponytail alongside her thrusters being powered by water instead of traditional rocket propulsion.

While Pharah's weapons can't be seen firing in the preview put out by Blizzard, her rockets could be changed to bottles of sunscreen or pool noodles. Considering the water flowing through her suit, she may have water-powered rockets as well.

Like with McCree, who also has a lifeguard legendary skin that was made available in a previous year's Summer Games event, Pharah's ultimate line will likely change while the skin is equipped. With it normally being "Justice rains from above," it could change to something along the lines of "Safety rains from above".

There will likely be a new spray made available for Pharah during this event referencing this skin as with the majority of legendary skins. Considering that both her and McCree have lifeguard sprays, they may both appear in the same one or they could have two sprays that go together like with other characters that have multi-part sprays.

Throughout the day, more Overwatch skins from tomorrow's event are likely to be revealed as well. Players will additionally get the chance to get skins from previous years' Summer Games events as well through the opening of lootboxes or the direct purchase via credits. However, players who don't want to open lots of lootboxes in order to get Pharah's new lifeguard skin will need to pay 3000 credits in order to directly unlock her once the event begins.

Like with other events, there will likely be even more skins available through mini-challenge events with players being able to get new prizes each week of the event. Players are encouraged to play, level up, and complete challenges to maximize the number of prizes earned during this limited-time event.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
