Players in Overwatch can currently participate in Sigma's Maestro Challenge in-game, where they can earn various cosmetic items. However, the most wanted part of the event is Sigma's new legendary skin: Maestro.

Getting this Overwatch skin won't require any credits or loot boxes. However, it can't be obtained via these methods either. Players will have to directly earn this event's prizes through their own efforts.

To earn Sigma's Maestro Skin, players have to win nine games of Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade. They will earn a prize every three wins and they can mix and match what they want to play. The only games that don't count toward the victories are games versus the AI and custom games.

Here are the following prizes that can be won by winning matches:

  • 3 Wins - Maestro Player Icon
  • 6 Wins - Maestro Emote for Sigma
  • 9 Wins - Maestro Legendary Skin for Sigma

Players may notice the number of sprays released for this challenge as well. These can be earned by watching officially sponsored Overwatch streams that players can find on the Overwatch tab of Blizzard's Battle.net application. The available sprays are:

  • Bossa Nova for Lucio
  • Guzheng for Mei
  • Fiddle for Moira
  • Djembe for Orisa
  • Maestro for Sigma
  • Sitar for Symmetra

These cosmetics may not return after this event, so players should try and earn them while they can. As only victories count toward making progress during the challenge, players are recommended to play in groups of friends or group up with other skilled players.

Another recommendation is to earn victories through arcade, as players will earn a free loot box for every three wins in arcade with up to three loot boxes able to be won per week. Many game modes in arcade additionally move a lot faster than normal quick play or competitive games as well, helping players earn their prizes as fast as possible.

Players only have until July 27 to earn these prizes, so everyone should act and play fast before this skin goes away for a potentially long time. Even players without the best win to loss ratios can squeeze out victories if they keep on playing.

Overwatch is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
