Overwatch players have come up with plenty of skin concepts over the years, turning the cast into everything from Marvel heroes to bank robbers. One Overwatch fan recently gave Sombra some extra attention, with the hero being turned into the Mad Hatter.

This is hardly the first time that fans have made a memorable Sombra skin concept. Earlier this month, an Overwatch fan turned Sombra into an Aztec god, with the design being as stylish as one would expect. With a mohawk, face paint, and unique armor, the fan concept put a lot of effort into changing Sombra’s appearance. The latest concept makes a number of changes to the character’s look as well, though the theme of the fan-made skin is completely different from that of an Aztec god.

The concept comes courtesy of Overwatch fan and Reddit user Acul4rt. The same fan has made several concepts in the past, from Hellboy Lucio to Cosmic Moira to Genie Sigma. Mad Hatter Sombra is something special, though, as the eye-catching skin being based on Alice in Wonderland makes it stand out from other looks that are currently available for the hero. Given the name, it is hardly a surprise that Sombra boasts a special hat with this skin. Instead of covering her entire head, it rests on the top right portion of it, with the tiny purple headwear featuring some feathers and a rabbit.

Sombra fans will notice that her hairstyle is different as well. While the hero keeps her purple highlights, two strands of hair are braided, providing a more stylish outfit than usual for the Talon member. On her neck, a pink bow tie can be seen, while a necklace with a clock extends below that. Sombra’s blue top is full of detail, with the colorful strap that wraps around her shoulder looking particularly good. Her brown belt includes some pencils, scissors, and measuring tape, and she boasts a purple wristband and golden nails on top of that.

Sombra boasts a purple skirt in this concept, with an intricate pattern being visible in the mockup. Alongside some blue boots, she wears knee-high socks, with bows seen on top that match the one around her neck. Stripes can be seen on the socks as well, and if these details were not enough, a clock can also be seen attached to the character’s back. In the comments, 2point0777 points out that fellow Overwatch hero Ashe has a skin with a similar color scheme. As such, they believe Mad Hatter Sombra would go well with Mardi Gras Ashe.

Unsurprisingly, the Overwatch community has responded well to the post, with the concept bringing in a number of positive comments. With Acul4rt only just sharing this Sombra design yesterday, their work will likely get a lot more love in the days to come.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
